Choice of the Deathless

I've replayed this game at least 10 times by now and read the entire book series as well.

Gillar egentligen inte interaktiva böcker -- har provat men inte fallit för "gå till sidan 13 om du väljer att gå till höger", men den här var annorlunda. Karaktärer och livsbeslut istället för HP och utrustning.

Seems like a lot of fun but it freezes in the first few pages with no ability to advance (choosing what sex you’re interested in).

Excellent writing — funny and suspenseful. Played through several times to change results. Great game.

A great, well-written game with a really unique world and interesting story—none of it felt tired. Magical lawyers are such a neat concept. Loved it so much I started getting into the related books, which are also great.

A fantastic game, with really top notch writing and a vibrant world!

I'm happy that I took the plunge into buying this game. Love the characters and their personalities. I adore the world the author created. This game led me to reading the Craft Sequence series and it's honestly life changing.

Interesting, beautiful world-building. Lots of choices with consequences. A couple different romance options. Just over all a really fun game with a great story! I've played it many times.

Literate, error-free prose that allows the reader some input in navigating the plot's myriad twists and turns. A bit disappointed in the depth and number of choice offered, however. Usually, I satisfy that craving by re-playing. The huge drawback to the series for me is the absence of bookmarks or chapter save points, even. To replay is to wade through pages and pages of text which does not change much if what I desire are subtle changes in approach to maximize (or minimize) trait scoring. Lacking that, at least inform us of how much charisma or craft, or whatnot we'd need for a particular choice selection. I'd still recommend as this story is like an economical novella that is written with skill and creativity.
