I discovered this app all the way back when it was barely a handful of stories and just launched. I’ve redownloaded it three or four times and over those accounts spent upwards of $150.
The heart and charm the stories used to have is dead. The clear shift to AI is *so* disappointing for an app that used to highlight their staff. The AI covers are poorly done, every story feels like a cut and paste prompt from a fanfiction, and even the character sprites have lost their charm.
I really miss the Choices of old. Tired of companies cheapening their product with AI, while charging premium prices and expecting their customers and fans to stay loyal.
Do better, Pixelberry.
Been playing since 2016, sad to see AI slop
I love choices and the stories it makes but it’s very sad to see that it’s being taken over by ai. Ai is a tool and you guys are using it as a shortcut and it’s not going to help you differentiate yourselves from the other story games. The ai pictures are scary. Uncanny valley.
i can’t log in can you help me?
help me please i contacted support
Cheap
I used to love this game. I played it every day. When the VIP came out I was so excited to get it, but then I saw the price. $20 a month? That’s $240 a year for a couple virtual gems and some reading material. The longer I’ve played this game, the more the stories have been manipulated towards taking our money. More choices requiring gems are added to every new book. It’s like you now have to pay to do anything interesting, or else watch ads for days on end or replay books a million times over. It’s just not fun anymore.
Love choices but they need to learn how to draw Asians
I can forgive choices years ago for not having a lot of options for character models but at this point it’s just disappointing. Hardly any of the books have an Asian character model you can play that looks decent. And please just include a free option for straight black hair lots of the books just don’t have that and my MC just looks so strange.
Could be better
This app used to be great and I love playing the stories but recently it seems most of the stories are r rated. Not everyone wants to read smut. And like you don't have to only read books like that but it seems the majority now are turning to that type and to be honest, it's kind of gross
change the app icon please
can you guys please change the app icon to something else instead of two people kissing? i get that you guys are trying to use it as clickbait but it’s embarrassing when people go through my phone and they see that…
Daily Diamond rewards
I used to receive a 100 diamonds daily but now it’s been dropped to 10 diamonds daily rewards, may I ask why?
This game gets crazy sometimes idk
So like I genuinely love this app. Have had it for five/six years, and play it pretty much everyday. I’m a vip which is kind of sad but it’s honestly the only reason I keep playing, and having unlimited keys is great. Even when I wasn’t vip (three ish years ago) I still loved everything about this game.
The older books are amazing, and I have literally nothing bad to say about them. Elementalists, Endless Summer, and Blades literally convinced me to start writing in the first place so I am ever grateful to that.
I love the customization choices, especially recently regarding pronouns and sexuality choices. I do wish there were more body choices, as every female body is skinny and every male body is not fat.
I don’t like how a lot of recent romance books have to be m+f (one love interest) just because that’s what’s on the cover. I also miss in older books when you could choose from a wider array of hairstyles and starter outfits, now it just feels like you’re given an outfit and only have four/five hairstyles to choose from.
I think having only one love interest is restricting, especially depending on the book you’re reading because oftentimes that one love interest is a terrible, hard to handle person that you know your character is gonna end up with anyways.
My favourite kinds of books are ones where every choice you make affects all characters like they would in real life, and if a score with a character is too low, then they die. It’s a great way to make your books replay-able since every ending is different based on who you side with for every choice.
What I don’t like is mainly trivial. I think this app is amazing at painting a picture, and really helps rookie writers with dialogue for the most part. I think the team are great from what I’ve heard and seen, and I’d even consider some of these books my favourites of all time (yes, up there with real books).
But here’s the thing, the recent books of the past year to two years have been not terrible at best and hard to push through or even unreadable at worst. This started with the Nanny Affair, I’d like to believe, but the origin is whichever the first spicy romance story was.
This is subjective, but I’m not rooting for anyone having an affair with anyone (especially not over the course of FOUR books) even if the marriage is fake. It’s morally wrong to want to pursue someone who is perceived as taken. Also if you can summarize the book in nine chapters from a different character’s perspe
