Brilliant App, Makes playing the guitar so much more fun
This has been a staple app on my iPhone and ipad for over a year and is used regularly without a hitch. Need the chords to a song on the ipad, you have got them in seconds, need to change the key up or down, done in a flash. Superb App Yamaha really pleased you created it, Thanks.
2024 Additional note and request: The app would be great if the songs in Favourites could be sorted alphabetically, this would make it quicker to find when practising, Thanks

What happened?
Used to be a great app...but now it crashes all the time, and is just unusable. I know the app is free, but when I’ve spent £3.5k on a Yamaha Genos and the app doesn’t work, that’s seriously frustrating. Please fix it!
If only...
This app cannot open local files. So all of the MP3 files I have made from my CDs are invisible. Even though the Apple Music app sees and plays them properly. (So it’s not just a DRM problem.)
Absolutely speechless.
When I downloaded this app and saw what it did, I was genuinely stunned for a moment. I’ve been playing many years and have a very good ear for chords. But I do sometimes struggle with identifying more complicated chord sounds. When I put a song with a fairly complicated mix of chords into this app (Goodbye Mr. A - The Hoosiers), I was absolutely astonished that within 5 seconds this app had identified m7b5s, 7s with inversions, and a whole host of other chords immediately. Absolutely fantastic app.

Free and brilliant
A quite fantastic app that has helped me identify chords to tonnes of tracks that no-one has ever or will ever tab. It gets the odd chord wrong and you might find an odd song that it can’t quite work out. But for a free app it is quite remarkable and has totally changed my ability to play songs. Bravo.
Crashes on iOS 13.0!
Had this app for about 2 years and use it a lot.
Just stopped working on iOS 13.0! As soon as a song is opened, it tries to load and after a few seconds - crashes! It was great to have playback via Bluetooth, but now it doesn’t work anymore!
Almost brilliant
Superb & very useful app. One drawback is that is doesn’t appear to work with Bluetooth.
