I only have the free version at the moment, and I would rate it higher cause I really like it but it keeps deleting my entries. I’ll write something in, then go back a while later to find everything I wrote has been deleted. It’s very frustrating. I don’t know if it’s a way to make me upgrade to the paid version but it’s more likely to make me go and find another app that actually works.
I have been looking for the ideal journaling app and Christian Journal popped up. The fact that the app does not take any personal data is amazing. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get into journaling and building their relationship with G-D.
Using this to record reflections after reading God’s word which are encouraging to look back on. Like the way you create a heading and a topic and also a quick mood check in

I’m very happy to find a Journal/Diary created specifically for Christian focus and meditation, however I have my concerns. CONCERNS: 1. There is absolutely no way to traditionally edit the journal! ‘Copy & Paste’ is very cumbersome and you cannot ‘select’ a sentence or paragraph, just a single word or the entire page! 2. The available edits are faulty - I can only highlight the entire page, instead of a section of the text. Ditto with Bold, Underscore, Italic… 3. Even when you back date (change the date) of a journal entry, it does not rearrange the entry into chronological order. 4. There is no scope to arrange individual folders for ascending or descending chronological order. One setting covers all folders. 5. Formatting: not every entry suits the current structure (Justified). I would like to be able to have the option to indent, center, justify left/right. 6. I have yet to work out how to rearrange the folders list. Is that even possible? 7. Finally, there is only 1 backup option. I have an iOS device, so would prefer to backup to my usual Cloud Storage - which IS NOT Google! There are things that I like and admire about this App, but they are somewhat outweighed by the above.

I dont typically partake in app reviews, but when the app is that special it’s only right to shout it from the rooftops. A hearty thanks to the Devs for making such a user-friendly and well-designed package. When you’re plumbing the details of Deuteronomy, or visualizing Revelations and it’s nice to accompany my study with this journal. It honestly gives me encouragement in my travels through The Bible, online sermons, and general notes as I make my way through the week. Thank you.

Can't upgrade shuts down needs more features Bible versions etc. Good base idea but limited offerings
