All I want is an app that will let me listen to a book without having to do it all in one sitting. If I've listened to a book for 45 minutes and stop it, when I come back the next day, it has lost my place and I have to spend time trying to find how far I had gotten. This is the most basic requirement for this type of app, so not having this makes the app essentially useless. I guess I have been spoiled by Audible.

I might be missing someth8ng…the help button on the app isn’t working so having to go this route. Where is the functionality in My Library to sort by downloaded and completed/ in progress? I’m thinking Im not the only one that needs to distinguish between books I’ve completed vs in progress…right? Basic customer focused functionality, possible? Love love this company and straightforward clean app.

I just downloaded the "updated" app and it is filled with problems. I had to call customer service to get my audio library to load. Now that my library has loaded, it will allow me to stream my books but not download them to my phone.

I am very disappointed with the “new” app. For over 8 months I have been trying to listen to several of my purchases, but I get a message that says “No chapters found”. When I try to download them with app, nothing happens. I have contacted customer service many times and l’m always told that it is being worked on, but they don’t now when it will be fixed. They have even told me to follow the “Help Section”. On there website, but the direction are for the old version (which by the way worked great). I tried to send this with (1) star but it wouldn’t let me.

First of all, no one will ever respond to any correspondence. Secondly, the app interface is terrible. You cannot view any book information in your library and the audio is very muffled. There is also no way to skip a chapter. also, the book will not play continuously if it is a downloaded title. This app interface needs to be completely revamped.

Since the update my purchases will no longer show up in the app and I have no support from developers. Seems a lot of people are having similar issues and now that we paid money for products we can’t use them.

The app was great. But for a long time more, Bibles esp have not worked. Message: “no chapter”. Customer service no help. Best plan on downloading and using method other than their app for Bibles.

For months now I have been unable to listen to several of my audio books. I essentially paid for the books but can’t listen to them. I contacted customer support multiple times and all they can say is we are aware that we have an issue with our app, we are rewriting it BUT not sure when it will be ready - sorry! It’s been months!!!

Update # 3 02.26.24: still no developer response Update # 2: still broken. Update: app no longer works. Praying for you all. Looking forward to using it again. —- As valuable as this app has been in the past, I’m very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of technical help. The book that I’ve used the most says there are “no chapters” and deleting the app and reloading doesn’t help. There is no available help. Waste of time to submit a help ticket. I would even buy it again if I thought it would help. The upgrade a few months ago just killed the app’s usefulness for me. So sad.

I used to use this app daily and what I loved about. It is my account at ChristianAudio would hold all my books but I can download the ones I want to listen to into the app. Now it crashes when I try to look up a book and doesn’t remember which books I had been listening to so I have to research to get the book and won’t download half of my books such as the Bibles, which are a frequent and necessary listen for me. When I first encountered these problems, I spent a couple of months reaching out to customer service and they acted like I was the only one with the problem with their new updates. I persisted until I found out that they were in denial and I was not the only one at that point I gave up thinking the complaints of others might push them to make more updates and get this fixed. I now look in the history probably a year later and see they have made updates but the app has not improved. I keep checking back because I want to listen to the Bible on this app rather than having to download it to my computer get part of it, put it in another app and listen there, but I’m annoyed and dismayed that they can’t just take it back to the previous version that worked and this is no longer useful to me
