How much does Chronicle cost?
Chronicle has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is £11.99.
At first I found this a handy app for monitoring incoming payments from my clients when taking credit card payments.
I use a payment processing provider which gives me the option to receive a combined deposit of payments on a set day each week.
This handy tool allowed me to monitor the individual payments and ‘archive’ them individually when they arrive.
However, I’ve tried to find an ‘archived’ payment and I cannot find any historic transactions at all.
The ‘help’ section is no help and very basic. The app ‘screenshots’ on the App Store indicate historic items can be viewed yet I cannot find them anywhere.
Another issue is whilst writing this there have been no updates or bug fixes for 5 months and I subscribe to the pro version.

I’m so glad I came across this app as I was using spreadsheets to keep on track of my bills and it was constantly having to log on computer and manually tick off. Now I’ve found this app life will be so much easier as it lists everything I need to know by adding the balance I can see how much my bills will be when they are due and what my balance will be after I’ve paid them.

I bought this app a few months ago, and the developer is such a very insipid person also seemingly illiterate as he fails to read his customers request before replying in the most nonsensical manner possible .
I am requesting a pro rata request but if I don’t get it I will expand this review with my evidence of someone who had a quarter decent idea , manage to develop it but look at how many people have bought or reviewed it .
Simplicity is key!
I've been using Notes or the Calendar app for years to track my monthly bills, and have tried quite a few "bill organiser" apps but they're all too overcomplicated or all want API access to your bill accounts, where as this is just a simple app that allows you to enter your monthly bills and setup dates and frequencies easily. Note for the developers: Please don't over complicate this app, it's super neat!
UK Bill Deferment
Have used Chronicle for years, great on Mac for keeping track and attaching documents etc. I’ve always enjoyed using it. Just took out the yearly Pro sub too (something I very rarely do). Only frustration is bill deferment when a bill falls on a weekend. I understand the US usually pull it back to the previous Friday, which is all you can do with any version of this at the moment, but in the UK, bills falling on a weekend are deferred to the following Monday. I had an exchange with the developer some years ago now on this, as it used to work either way, but deferring to Monday was removed for some reason. Please bring it back, it’s the only thing I don’t like about this, otherwise very useful, app.
Great app
I've been using this app for the last 10 months and I've got to say it's great. I can see what's I've got to pay out each month and once you learn your way around it you can use it to open links to your bank account to pay anything manually that is not done by DD. I've even just bought the Mac version of this. This is now one of my must have apps. The developer has been listening to the suggestions and it does now have iCloud syncing which is fantastic. Ive even given a suggestion to the developer and he likes the idea so fingers crossed this will happen. Update To have pro features I’ve got to purchase this even though I purchased the app to start with. And to have the pro features on Mac I’ve got to basically pay what I paid for the app again. Oh and it looks like the version I paid for is now free. So why what the heck did I purchase. It’s wrong to make users pay if they purchased the app when it was a paid app to start with. And still my suggestion has not been implemented and that was 3 years ago.
Stopped using this now, all my banking apps now have what this provides. and I don’t need to purchase pro features because you get everything.
