I’ve been testing so many bill reminders, and Chronicle is the winner. It has everything I was looking for. And also a lovely customer service. The developer gives us a great support.

Please add the ability to defer bills that fall on a weekend to the following Monday. I’m a Uk user and this would be much appreciated.

How do I change the currency on my bills etc? Thanks

I bought this app a few months ago, and the developer is such a very insipid person also seemingly illiterate as he fails to read his customers request before replying in the most nonsensical manner possible . I am requesting a pro rata request but if I don’t get it I will expand this review with my evidence of someone who had a quarter decent idea , manage to develop it but look at how many people have bought or reviewed it .

Have used Chronicle for years, great on Mac for keeping track and attaching documents etc. I’ve always enjoyed using it. Just took out the yearly Pro sub too (something I very rarely do). Only frustration is bill deferment when a bill falls on a weekend. I understand the US usually pull it back to the previous Friday, which is all you can do with any version of this at the moment, but in the UK, bills falling on a weekend are deferred to the following Monday. I had an exchange with the developer some years ago now on this, as it used to work either way, but deferring to Monday was removed for some reason. Please bring it back, it’s the only thing I don’t like about this, otherwise very useful, app.

I've been using this app for the last 10 months and I've got to say it's great. I can see what's I've got to pay out each month and once you learn your way around it you can use it to open links to your bank account to pay anything manually that is not done by DD. I've even just bought the Mac version of this. This is now one of my must have apps. The developer has been listening to the suggestions and it does now have iCloud syncing which is fantastic. Ive even given a suggestion to the developer and he likes the idea so fingers crossed this will happen. Update To have pro features I’ve got to purchase this even though I purchased the app to start with. And to have the pro features on Mac I’ve got to basically pay what I paid for the app again. Oh and it looks like the version I paid for is now free. So why what the heck did I purchase. It’s wrong to make users pay if they purchased the app when it was a paid app to start with. And still my suggestion has not been implemented and that was 3 years ago. Stopped using this now, all my banking apps now have what this provides. and I don’t need to purchase pro features because you get everything.

I’ve found Chronicle to be a really useful tool in managing my monthly budget, but it seems the developers aren’t too interested in much more than bug fixes. I’ve found that unless you have cloud syncing and the MacOS app, you can’t do basic things like add/edit your income amount or view historical payments. This is strange because the iPhone app allows you to do forecasting, which requires income... The Mac app also allows you to enter other information on debts, such as remaining balance and interest rate, so you can get an accurate view of your finances from this ‘single pane of glass.’ But the iPhone app seems oblivious to this information. On the plus side, the reminder notifications are super handy, the layout is intuitive and simple, and the app doesn’t have any significant bugs. I went from having no budgeting software to this and I must say it’s made a hugely positive difference. If it wasn’t for the feature disparity, I’d say this is a must-have tool in your budgeting arsenal. You can have the app automatically move payments on weekends/holidays (US holidays only) to the previous day. In my experience, all my payments on weekends and holidays are moved to the next working day, so this bugs me a little as the app keeps telling me I’m overdue for a payment. I suppose the summary of this is that I don’t expect to be getting many major new features soon, and the iPhone app is nice but it’s really only an accessory to the full Mac app.

As my title says I find this app quite useful. The macOS app really follows Apple’s style guide and it’s really more polished. The iOS app looks kinda outdated when it comes to the UI. Please refresh 🤞🏻

Placed request for more flexible bill interval time and they included it in last update. Great communication with developer too. I am looking forward to using the app and will report back.

I would tell this app is the must useful app you could come a cross to make your life with less stress and hassle to remember all up coming bills. Thanks for latest update which now we able to forecast up coming month financial. Very easy to use and navigate. Many Thanks to the developer 👌🙋🏻‍♂️👍
