Simple app, the ads are not in the way, organized, and it provides good insights for setting savings goals.

Great Calculator

erharuspex on

This is the best compound interest calculator I’ve found on the store. I like the fact that they let you calculate in monthly intervals. Sure, there’s other calculators that “look” better, but as far as functionality, this one is as good as it gets.

Great tool to visualize portfolio possibilities

It’s interesting to see how much saving an additional 1% or 2% can change over many years of compound interest. I recommend this kind of tool regularly & have told several people about this app.

The rule of 72! With extras

wynndogg on

It’s hard to get people to start investing one of the best ways is to explain the rule of 72 were. if you take 72 divided by the interest rate that will tell you how long the doubling time will be. e.g. 12% interest with $10,000= 72/12 =6 years later you’ll have $20,000. If you put $10,000 when your kid is born then they have 3 doubling periods or $80,000. Now this does that plus it adds the additional money that you can add for mind blowing totals that make you wanna act. So if you did the same 10k plus added another $100 a month you’d deposit a total of $21,600 and gain ~$116,000 for a total of ~$148,000 which would be something when the kid is thinking about going to school. Get the app, do the math, and get a stash account and get invested today!!!

Cool except for one huge problem

Most people get paid bi weekly(add money to retirement funds), and that essentially makes it useless to me.
