Cincinnati Open FAQ
Is Cincinnati Open free?
Yes, Cincinnati Open is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Cincinnati Open legit?
⚠️ The Cincinnati Open app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The fonts are tiny and difficult to read, and rather than having the matches all in one place the live ones are under “scores” and completed under “results”… sometimes. Sometimes they’re just not even there at all. Also, I have set all my favorite players for notifications, turned on notifications everywhere possible, and the only thing I have gotten notifications for are parking alerts which mean nothing to me because I am not there. This app is pretty much useless. I have an iPhone 13, there’s no reason it should not be working properly.
Location services necessary?
Can’t get by the location services without signing up. Won’t use the app.
What the?
Forcing location service usage is a dealbreaker. I’ve used the app for years, and now I’m deleting it.
Terrible
Can’t see schedule for next day. Live scores don’t update. Order off play screen is blank half the time I click on it. You really need better developers. Wimbledon app was much much better.
Poor Poor Poor
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Navigation is difficult. It’s very hard to find out when and where matches are being playing at the venue. It doesn’t update properly. It sometimes won’t launch. Truly a terrible effort in providing an app for spectators and fans watching on TV.
Useless
Hard to See How an App Could Be More Useless! I could not access match schedules, results, draws. Nothing! I used the ATP/WTA app and had all the info I needed in near real time.
Only works sometimes
Can’t even keep the live scores and results working correctly during the actual tournament.
Daily play match Oder will not load 8 out of 10 tries even when I’m at home
Best of times, worst of times
Digital ticketing is, in theory, a step forward because so many people have smart phones. No more having to mail paper tickets to friends when you can just transfer them digitally on your phone.
Selling tickets is also a snap, which is nice, except my tickets sold 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten paid. I received email notification that 3 sets of my tickets sold, but no email about the other two sets which my app says sold. So now I have no proof that I’m owed money.
Transferring tix to friends, family, and even my husband, who is a co-owner of our tickets, is extremely frustrating. The recipient has to create a W&S account to even receive tickets, but after they click on the link from their text or email, no ticket appeared. After several tries and many hours of frustration, it appears that if they install the W&S app on their phone, the tickets will appear there. But that is nowhere in the instructions.
If you are on site during the tournament, you lose access to some great features, including looking up scores, seeing court assignment, or even managing your tickets because there’s not enough network capacity.
In years past, they used to give you a spreadsheet with the order of play that you could print out. That feature is missing this year.
Use the website instead
Non-intuitive and doesn’t update regularly. Continues to be a poor excuse for a tournament app. Needs a complete overhaul.
Doesn’t work
It either says service unavailable, or when it does work, you cannot see tomorrow’s or future schedule - only today.
