Circle 1st generation

With Ios 17.5.1, circle stopped working. I did factory reset on my netgear and now circle is going in loop on screen Your Router is Compatible.

Worst parental controls I’ve ever used. Extremely difficult to set up. Then it can just lose all those settings randomly, so you have to go through the whole process again. Right now it isn’t working correctly at all. It’s like the clock is wrong so it blocks tv when it shouldn’t and works when it shouldn’t. I don’t see a place to set the clock, so I have to manage it manually. I can’t believe I am paying for this garbage. I’ve used much better free software on routers made by other manufacturers. Stay away!

This is a great app WHEN IT WORKS. It seems like every 8-12 months it deletes all of my info and for a day or so there is no monitoring , I just happen to notice it when I tap in to control a device. What in the world!!? I use it with my Netgear Orbi as an included feature and still pay the $6/mo or so for the service. Seems there are other services that are portable and will back up my account so this doesn’t happen. Very disappointed that it’s not a consistent, reliable product.

Managing devices connected to Circle is horrible. Deleting devices that don't exist anymore doesn't work. I have about 15 devices that don't even exist and they're still listed. If you update a name to a device it just changes back to old one. Even after actually renaming the device itself and changing name in orbi app. I hate circle

While it is supposed to work with netgear router, the whole story of trying to pair them can only be described using very bad words which are not allowed here. Completely unusable and misleading thing with magic verifcation process taking you eventually to the payment page as the only option with unknown outcome.

My child has full access to internet and YouTube on his school chrome book. This app does not seem to be compatible with Chrome books and does nothing to block content. Only thing it is good for is shutting down the entire internet on the device which only prevents my child from doing schoolwork.

It’s impossible to get back into the App after logging out. have nearly a full year of paid subscription and cant use it. Help service was useless, want clients to be IT experts. Don’t get it, there must be better out there.
