Depends on your doctor.
Just like real life the doctor seems to make the difference. Although the fast replies are great and I do believe it’s a helpful app I was brushed off by my doctor and slightly degraded.

Wow!! 9 PM on a Friday night and Dr. Mary Jo Young was on the chat in less than 1 min. Within 20 minutes had a thorough chat visit that included medical history and pictures of visible symptoms. Extremely professional and didn’t brush me off. I would HIGHLY recommend this service. Benefit as a Help at Home Employee. Congrats HAH for getting this as a benefit this year. Thank you again Dr. Mary Jo Young I really appreciate your quick and helpful response to the need at hand.
I used this app so I wouldn’t have to go in person to a doctor. The doctor I was connected with was very unprofessional and kept asking the same questions over and over, even though I clearly answered them. I was hoping to get prescribed something so I wouldn’t have to see a doctor in person, but all this doctor did was tell me to go see a doctor over and over. Don’t waste your time!
First time using this app provided by work and man i am glad i used it. The doctor was helpful and very professional. She answered all the questions i had about my health and even regarding the app and how much they are allowed to do. Definitely recommend if you have no urgent cares around your area. This is much better. No wait time and i did it in the comfort of my room.
Have used several times for quick help and questions. Always very professional and helpful. So convenient to not go in to an office for quick issues.
Finally a healthcare company that gets it
This app is horrible now. It Used to work and serve a purpose. Now it’s so glitched out so bad I cannot use it at all. Multiple re-installs later and trying to fix it, emailing support, it still don’t work right. If your app starts to tell you to reverify your health record number, doesn’t let you chat with a dr, and has you re-enter a passcode, then it could be glitched-out
They will just talk down to you and refuse. It’s a huge waste of time and money.
Moda says it’s offered as a part of my health plan, then they say it’s $45 co-pay, little bait and switch is normal, whatever. My provider was very prompt and dismissive, told me to check back in 14-21 days (they bill in 7 day cycles). While I understand that telemedicine isn’t as in depth as an in person appointment with my usual provider (closed on Sundays), this short experience with the service just left me feeling scammed for $45 dollars with a request for up to $90 more. Won’t use it again, $45 dollar lesson that I’m willing to teach you for free
