Parallel Texts Reader

I can’t get any of the books to make sound in any language. And also, even if they were working, there are so few of them. I can read German without needing the audio but I need the Russian audio to truly learn.

Please help, I can‘t download any books anymore. I had a book I was reading. I wanted to go back and refresh the list. Now I got nothing. Deletedthe App

I absolutely love this app but it won’t show any books in the library anymore, it says failed to load the list of languages. Is there any way this can be fixed?

The book selections (for english-french) are pretty good. Sherlock Holmes to Asimov. I like how you can flip from one language to the other entirely or press for specific sections. The app is missing a bookmark function and you cant download books for offline reading. This keeps the rating at 3 stars. If these functions are available, they are hiding somewhere I could not find them. Worthwhile app, but not perfect.

Can you add more audio books?

Хорошо закреплять словарный запас иностранного языка, узнавать новые слова, форму построения предложений. Одно краткое касание на фразе, абзаце - переводит всю фразу, абзац. Длительное удержание на слове - показывает перевод одного слова. Интересно перевести фразу самому, а после короткого клика на фразу/предложение сравнить с литературным переводом.

I would really like this app to work, but I get a "Language List Failed to Load" error on startup. I hope this gets developed further: parallel text reading on the iPad seems like a great opportunity.

App is good, however you are unable to add translated text to the word list (only the original one). More books always appreciated.
