City Cabs Derry

App doesn’t work. Keeps telling me I’ve lost connection.

There should be a way to create a payment account within the app. It requests an account id? what is that? you already have a login and password. It would be easy to be able to link apple wallet like every other taxi app in 2022. Other than that, City Cabs is great and it’s nice to be able to track the car in the app but I’m not calling up the firm to get an account in 2022. Doesn’t make any sense. Just add apple pay!

Better off walking as by the time they arrive they’re 20 minutes late

Booked a taxi at 5pm for 2am they cancelled 1.30am so I phoned up... they didn’t care and said they’d send another taxi out.. arrive at 4am

Awful app, ordered a taxi from it & received ring back 5 mins after the taxi had already left

Everything since the app has been updated, I never get the taxi on the time I book it. The older app was more reliable. Also when the taxi is booked it doesn't let you see the time you book it and it's easy to make the mistake of getting the pm/am mixed up. Once booked there's no way on the app to find out if made a mistake or not. The apps a joke, get it sorted.

I live in London and was over here in Derry for business. Came across the cab firm online turns out it is the largest. Found the app and booked countless rides through it within a 24 hour window. Amazing! See where your cab is at. When it has been dispatched. It's current location on a map is simple yet the most informative information around. You can enter the address or drag a pin and drop it to the location you want. Add notes so the driver knows what to do. The nice touch is you get a text when your cab is outside with a description of the car so you know what to look out for. Brilliant. Will be using this again on coming business trips and the prices. Amazing. Better than anything I get anywhere else in the world.

Need to update maps, I'm a loyal customer and have just moved house, I can't order from this app from my current house in ivy mead mews

I love this App! I switched from another company to city cabs because of their fast service and this brilliant app. I love being able to track the taxi to know when I should keep an eye out. The push notifications are so handy too. Id love if I could not only delete favourites but add them without actually booking a taxi, and maybe edit their names like "home" or "work". I'm being picky, the App really is brilliant, other companies need to pay attention and try to catch up. I lived I London 3 years and no firm was as modern as this.
