Amazing magic on the spectators iPhone by World Champion Magician, SOMA. Unlike other magic apps, this trick is not performed on the magician's phone, so the spectator will not assume that a tricky app is involved. City Prediction is a pure miracle performed on the spectator's iPhone in his/her hand. It is so unbelievable it will leave the audience speechless and amazed.
= The effect =
The magician asks for the spectator’s iPhone and asks her to open maps.google.com in her browser. After the performer turned it away for a few seconds, he puts it face-down on the table. From this point, nobody will touch the phone but the spectator. First, she names a city - it is completely free of choice, no lists or restrictions are involved. Then she turns her iPhone over and surprisingly realizes that the city she named is marked in the previously opened Google Maps.
The trick is easy to perform, requires minimal setup and practice. The app includes written instructions and a video guide, as well.

It used to be better!!!
Who uses google maps through safari on an iPhone. Highly unrealistic now. It used to be better with the apple maps app. Even then it was sketchy cause most people use google maps, but no one uses google maps on safari, so it raises suspicions right away.

I love this app the only downfall IMO is that the spectators device is left in PV you have to disable that when the effect is complete. Other than that, this is an amazing app (you are left "clean") worth the money, actually it should be more. The instructions are clear and easy to understand very simple and easy to do even for a beginner. I amazed myself just practicing lol
Great but...
I love this app it is ingenious in the trailer pictures etc it advertises Apple maps which is not true. It can get a little suspicious of your opening google maps in safari when they have a map application already on their phone
Doesn't work right
I love this app and have used it for a while in my active routines. Unfortunately this no longer works if the spectators phone is running iOS 9. The new iOS asks for the users input when ever an app tries to open other apps. So when the phone is flipped back over, the spectator would have to say yes to safari opening up maps, thus making the trick and this app unusable in iOS 9. I don't know if there is a way to get around this with an app update, because this is a feature of iOS 9 itself.
Works sometimes. Not worth it
Tried it on my other iPhone and it worked alright. I tried it on an iPad that WAS connected to wifi (same one my old iPhone was connected to) and it doesn't work at all, this ruining the trick. This is way too overpriced.
Great app and service
Not only is this app a fantastic trick, but the customer service is awesome. I broke my phone and had absolutely zero trouble getting this app reset in my new phone with my same ID. I highly recommend the trick and am very grateful for the care behind the scenes here. :) Ps. It looks great on my iPhone 6 Perry
Amazing
Its one of the best i've seen but it would be even better if you could perform for ipod touches too
