Not the best out there…
For the last 5 days we’ve not been able to charge our car as this CityEV app is down. We have no idea why and just got an apology with no clue as to when the issue would be resolved. Currently the app has reset all customers’ log ins and you can’t save them, which means you can’t charge your car. Mark44H’s review is spot on. My husband has had to drive to a sports ground and use Source, which is a great backup. He’s cycled home and fuming about the dire customer service he’s experienced in the last 5 days and no charging locally. Paythru Limited, why is this current fault taking so long and why haven’t you alerted any customers? Also whenever there’s a software update, all our customer details/cards are deleted? It’s a pain in the neck having to re-register every time. Very unsatisfactory and time-consuming!
It’s incredibly annoying when the app updates and you lose all your saved payment details. This repeatedly happens. Please fix this. It’s doubly annoying when the app prevents you from entering payment details which is what’s happened with the latest update. After you pick a charger the next screen allows you to enter your credit card details only there’s no Save button to progress to the next screen. Try entering the details from the settings menu there’s a tick to save this time only pressing it closes the screen but the details are not saved. Bottom line is the chargers are bricked because I cannot enter payment. How this update got through basic QA beggars belief, do you have no regression testing? To the company that develop this app you know you provide an essential service and people rely on this, you must do better. Please fix this issue quickly.
When I scan the QR it brings up the point, but when I press the select button nothing happens. Followed their guide to the letter but this still kept happening. Someone pulled up next to us and they had the same problem. Only resolved by logging out of my account, then selecting the point which then asks you to log in and proceeds to payment, which I purely found out by accident and the no one answered the help phone number
