Clank Reviews

Good basic version but won’t update to Pro

Basic version is good. Using this app for the GZCLP. I’ve tried to update and pay for thePro upgrade but it’s won’t allow me to make the update. Have written support several times with zero response. I guess they don’t want the money. It’s a shame because this app has great potential.

Not Customizable

Skittlzeez on

United States

This app has decent routines for beginners but if you want to make any changes to the existing routines they can only be additive. You can’t swap out an existing exercise for a new one nor can you reorder the base routines. recommended starting weights are just 45 for everything so there isn’t any actual thought put into those. Bench press 45 starting weight makes sense but lat raises for 45 is ridiculous.

Good

Helps me keep track of what I am doing

Good stuff

Simple and to the point. Great interface. Much more efficient than inputting numbers or tracking your progress manually. If you're a beginner or even intermediate lifter, this is what you need. I could go on about why I like it, but instead you should just get the app and hit the gym.

Free app works well

Pro is too expensive and not a one time purchase

Need workout revision options

Running GCCL and there’s no way to remove a lift once it’s logged or add a lift to workouts already logged if you forgot to include it. Seems like a big oversight unless I’m missing something.

Love it

Hate doing math so this app automatically calculating my weight... it’s a no brainer!

Wish it were a little more customizable

Chick_mag_nick on

I enjoy the app, been using it for almost 6 months. Have run a few programs. Still waiting for NSuns, Jacked and Tan, and a few others. I wish the app would let me substitute some exercises due to lack of equipment, or preference of one exercise over another for accessory movements. I wish rest times were a little more customizable (meaning add or subtract time based off of need). I also wish deload weeks could be programmed in, not just targeted towards a particular muscle group. Reloading weight for 1 day, for one exercise, of a 6 day week of PPL is not really a deload and is gonna lead to over training.
