Clara for Creators

I tried to sign up for the app it’s telling me reviewing, but it’s been almost a week and I’m still not accepted. This is crazy one star.

This app is very helpful, I recommend it to any content creator!

The way you can see what creators are charging without the awkwardness of having to ask them or taking the time to do so. This just makes pay transparency so much easier. Gave me the confidence to ask for more on a brand deal Thank you!!!

I absolutely love Clara and think it’s one of those app every social media content creator needs. There is such a disparity in the amount of money creators make in this space, and Clara helps us find out worth. The app has so many submissions to go through, I def recommend supporting other creators on it

Their home page has new reviews for different brands, but you can’t even click on the brands’ names to go to their page. On the brands tab, when you try to click on a brand there is a lag… takes a while to refresh. That doesn’t matter too much but my main gripe is that I’ve written some reviews for a few brands and they don’t even show up on the brands’ pages. What’s the point of writing a review if it’s not going to be posted? Other than that it’s an ok app. Nice to read other people’s posts and how much they got paid… but it looks like it’s a dead app bc even if I “suggest a brand” to add on their list, it’s ignored and not updated. Could’ve been a great app but 🤷🏻‍♀️

This app has been so useful in seeing what brands are paying other creators & finding brands who work with my “platform size”. The only thing I wish for is seeing more reviews from other creators. On the main page I’m only able to see about 5 reviews from other creators, wish there was a way to see all reviews from all time. And on the page where all the brands are - there are no categories. So if you’re not looking for a specific brand you kind of just have to keep scrolling until you find a brand you’re familiar with and then do your own research. Overall though - definitely a MUST for all content creators !!

I’ve used Clara for over a year now. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my work as a creator and see how other creators are being compensated. But I’ve noticed some important issues from the beginning that I expected would go away over time and haven’t. For one, the photo uploader to add your profile pic, portfolio pics, etc says it requires photos 5MB or less, but I usually have to size them down to 100KB to make it work. I also have to add them via my phone or they get cropped weird. Other issues include: not being able to update my Instagram URL, not being able to unfollow brands, and other profile-related issues. I was one of the earlier adopters of this app, so I was expecting issues in the beginning, but these same issues have persisted since then. I recommend using this app, but just be aware there will be some problems on both the desktop site and the phone app that may make updating your profile difficult.

This app has really helped give me the confidence to raise my pricing. I’m so thankful it exists! A few improvements I would love to see would be to filter reviews by social platform / follower account instead of just scrolling through brands. Thank you!!!

This app allows you to get granular detail about working with brands, how they pay, when they pay, how they are to work with, challenges, and helpful hints from other creators. This enables pricing your content in an educated and justifiable way- highly recommend!

Love the transparency here! Would be great to be able to privately chat or respond to reviews to get contacts.
