ClareHome

Came installed when we bought our brand new house. Only lasted for a year and never worked again. I tried to call the customer service and they told me to contact the third party who installed it. Called the number they gave, it doesn’t work at all - says business is permanently closed. Called ClareHome again and they can’t do anything for us and said the device is faulty now. Lastly, multiple houses around me who got the ClareHome also experienced the same thing. All of our ClareHome don’t work anymore. Stay away and use another home system.

Stuck in reconnecting. Help menu says I have to buy a Claire Panel to fix it. Either it’s a force purchase or the company is moving away from single app support. I guess I am uninstalling since they are moving away from app usage.

The concept is very good, one app to control everything lights, thermostat, door locks, etc, plus an added benefit of a security system. No having to hop from app to app. However, IT DOESN’T WORK!!!. I’ve had technicians spend over 20 nan hours to try and get it working. They spent hours on the phone with Clare and got 6 cameras working, that’s all. The door lock worked already. No lights, thermostat, nothing else working. I constantly get a “reconnect “ error message and it takes over 30 seconds for security cameras load. Great idea, extremely poor execution.

After years of good service app stoped working for us. The company had really good customer service. I guess they sold and currently the company does not deal directly with customers. They want me to use my “dealer” who is clueless about this system. I called them and email them several times. No response. I paid thousands of dollars for a system that doesn’t work anymore.

Just wanted to let ppl working on app know since the last update even when I unlock on app once in 5times it does not unlock the security. On my gf app too. I come back in the 4 in the morning and alarm went off several times. Need some update guys

The app updated a couple days ago and now all my zwave switches are offline. A couple days after this review a new update was released that fixed my issues of devices being offline. Updating my review to a better score due to the speed and customer service.

Clarehome system alerted us of a water leak in our pool house where we had a burst pipe that we weren’t aware of. It notified us in time before it causing any major damages and that allowed us to repair it quickly.

Every time I pull up the app it has to reconnect, this app is TRASH!

Worked for about a month and ever since will not connect. App is useless if you can’t even use any part of it.

The app has password vulnerability. It allows you to login once and the it doesn’t allow you to login again. There is no customer care support from Clare Home
