Not worth $85 a year
So I signed up for their lowest tier plan. It's definitely not worth it. Yes, it's a basic weather app. Radar is "smoothed” you could get a great yearly plan with Radar Omega or Radar Scope for 85 a year. Weather app Wxl23 is a great free app to pull weather models (GFS, HRRR and so on), CPC Outlooks, meso discussions and so on for free. Bypass this until Clarity adds much more to their app.
Just ok
Only gives you 10 day forecast not monthly or long range.
No email code received
I attempted to put my email in the app for a code but I haven’t received my code to access the app. I checked my spam folder and inbox several times.
Save your money
Rarely ever correct on monthly forecasts. When it does rain they will show a 10% chance. Or they’ll show an 80% chance and it won’t do anything. Very expensive to be wrong so often.
Saves our athletic department valuable time and money!
We have had a strong relationship with BAMwx since the days of personal text updates! Their accurate brand of forecasting weather has enabled our athletic department to save time and money. We rely on them to make decisions based on outdoor events and practices. There have been many times when they predict rain at game time, we postpone and other schools get a partial game in and have they to come back another day. That costs money for drivers, gas and it may be tough to get officials for the make up date. Where we have cancelled early, rescheduled and found officials for the makeup game before all the other teams. This new app is a game changer! I would highly recommend.
It’s incredible
Since 2011 I’ve formed a close and very valuable friendship with the people of BAM. It is nothing short of a true American success story to see just how high the heights have been achieved for them. This is yet another level up.. backyard forecasting. I never thought I’d see it.. I was dead wrong.. the dedication, professionalism and large amounts of crucial forecast data make this an absolute MUST GET. Well done yet again my friends, You just keep climbing. 👏💪
