Classic MineSweeper+ Reviews

Too many Guesses

mgranger on

It’s a great game and lets you use logic to clear the board, but too many times you are left where you can’t eliminate known safe squares with the numbers. I’ve gotten down to less than 10 bombs but loose because it’s just a guess. I think it’s because the grid is too big, so there are longer straight lines where each number has too many possibilities. Other than that it’s a great game.

cool

Everyone in the expert minesweeping list is within 1 second, which is so cool. The world champion trophy should be awarded to these people in the leaderboard.

Keep the brain active with the tougher games. My favorite is Mine Sweep. Getting better as I keep doing the game.

I turned the games sounds off at one point so I could play it quietly while wife was asleep next to me . When I turned game sounds back on the next day, there are no sounds. It’s a permanent button, apparently.

Missing function of true minesweeper

Fel Noelle on

This isn’t true minesweeper. You should be able to play the entire game in flag mode, but playing flags over mines and double clicking the numbers to expand more numbers out. But it’s missing that expansion feature.

New version is totally lame.

I have played many hundreds of thousands of Minesweeper games. Until I created a custom level that is hugely harder than the hardest “stock” level, I had about a 2% win record. That is a testament to how many games are lost on between the first and 7th play, especially the first play. The new version is lame because it requires three moves before a new game is initiated. Those three moves take 3-5 seconds with the really lame graphic telling me I lost the game. When the % of lost games are lost on the first play is better than 50% that stupid graphic plays over and over. Go back to just the board changes to sad faces and let me hit the sad face, and restart.

It’s cool, but...

I love the multigame thing, but when you are swaping to the right, it returns you to the homepage, losing all your progress... :( Thanks, hope you can figure something out for this

Minesweeper performance.

MS nuts on

United States

Easy to see where you are on board, hold time to place flags is consistent and board doesn’t move while holding. Still slow compared to using a two button mouse.
