Why can’t you design the app to download the ringtones directly to the iPhone instead of using a PC? I got all the ringtones I needed but I’m retracting my review and giving it a 1 star. If you reply with a logical explanation then I’ll give it a five star again.

I love the choices, there are a lot and most of them sound like a phone, many variations of a mechanical bell sound. If it doesn’t sound like a phone I may not notice that a call is coming in. When I hear phones that ring with a song or the carriers default proprietary sound I’m embarrassed for the user since they don’t have the good sense to know that they sound silly. (At least to me). So while I like the old school ringtones I don’t like the old school method of putting them on my phone through a computer. What is a computer? I haven’t used one in over ten years. I guess your code writers still use computers to create these apps but the rest of the world uses an abacus for decoration in rustic interior designs. Imagine a cold, sterile room with banks of giant reel to reel machines that have the computing capabilities less than an LED flashlight. Yes, I’m that old. Anyway, what am I supposed to do without a computer? I would give it five stars if I didn’t need to go through a computer.

I read reviews and assumed it had been changed by now. You still need to install, connect to a computer, then you’re able to apply the ringtone. Nope. May 9, 2024

I am just trying to add a new ringtone to my phone, as the one I’ve been using for years has disappeared. I only want to add this to my ringtone choices on my iPhone. NOT my computer. I am deleting this app from my Home Screen. Can anyone suggest an app, for iPhone only, that can be easily downloaded just to my iPhone?

Why isn’t the fact that you need to use a computer given in the app description? This makes it useless as far as I’m concerned. Who needs a ringtone on their computer?

I have no issue with downloading a packet of tones. I do however have an issue with needing to use a computer to get the tones saved to my phone. This was NOT stated in the product description. I can download the packet to my phone, listen to all the options on my phone, but once I choose a tone, I am instructed to connect my phone to a computer to save the tone. If my phone has the capacity to download the packet of tones directly, why would I have any need (or desire) to connect my phone to a computer & use iTunes to install the new ringtone. I’m glad it was free. I will be deleting this app as soon as I save the review.
