Classical Music & Jazz WRTI

I have fond memories of spending Friday nights after work with WRTI Jazz many years ago. Friday night mixtape has done more to expand my musical vocabulary than any other transmission I’ve ever picked up! It’s wonderful to be able to tune in from the Live Freeze and Die state of NH and keep the positive vibes flowing.

And I'm still here.. love this app cuz i can listen to jazz @ nite and in the day withoit the app this isn't possible so thank you for this Temple Music Radio for yrs of great Jazz the tickets i won from you all for El Viaje every Saturday for 33 yrs and I'll be with you all until the end 🥂🎷🎷🎷🎺

I used to listen to my local not affiliate radio station but got tired of a couple of the programs and the repetitive “news” stories. Around the time of the election, I had to find something else to listen to because it was nothing but election coverage. I love WRTI — terrific music and when news does come on, I can take a break for a little bit.

I followed WRTI through their website for a few months before I realized they had an app. The layout is simple and I find all the programming interesting. Compared to other music playlists or stations, I enjoy how the pieces selected truly cover all genres of instrumental and opera music instead of just the recognizable works.

Excellent app. User friendly, never buffers, and, unlike many other stations’ apps, no annoying message/advertisement every time you open it. One of the better jazz stations out there

I listen to the jazz programming all day at work. A great accompaniment to my work life!!

This is a review for the app, not the station. The app is simple. I don’t use it for anything but to listen to the station. It could just be two buttons, one to listen to classical and the other for jazz, and I’d be happy.

WRTI is so good! I’ve lived or driven in about 40 states in the US and I would put this in my top three music radio stations of all time. If they play a classical or Jazz song you’re not in the mood for, you can just switch to the other one.

WRTI is truly fantastic on the radio, and the audio is so clear on the app! With the ability to switch from classical to jazz music there is always a choice selection. The radio station, itself, has an unparalleled amount of both genres. Along with a great core of on-air personalities to give it a touch of humanity, and occasional NPR updates it has a little bit of everything.

Several public radio stations use this base software with each station’s customization. It’s always excellent in the streaming department. Also like all the additional information provided on WRTI’s customization of the app.
