At some point, in the last month or two, the search feature stopped working properly. You can’t search for anything unless you reduce it to 10 mile radius and then it still doesn’t show the hotels that are available. It’s pretty much useless.
Fix your app!
The CLC staff is great, they always help when you call. This app is absolutely pitiful, though. Please fix it. If you’re wondering how to make the app better: Listen to your consumers. We have a very troublesome time utilizing this great tool. So much potential wasted.
PROS: 1-Typically can get hotel quickly anytime. 2-Issues that arises during check in have been quickly resolved for me. (2 issues in 2 years). 3-Price benefit for my employer who requires the use of CLC. However, Rarely I have found same or just below room rates on hotel sites and google. CONS: 1-App really doesn’t show all hotels available to CLC cardholders. 2-Another issue is the distance shown must be a straight line (as the crow flies) because maps/gps shows much differently. 3-There is not an option in the app to rate individual stays/hotels. 4-Can’t understand 80% of their customer service representatives that call about reservations.
My company forces us to use CLC and it has ruined business travel for me. The selection of hotels is extremely limited, the app is clunky, the check in process is slow and usually the hotel clerk is unfamiliar with how to do a CLC check in because it is so confusing. I have had “confirmed reservations” that do not exist when I arrive at the full hotel after midnight, numerous times the hotel has rooms but no CLC rooms, and the CLC agent suggests a much worse hotel sometimes an hour or more away. There is a large language barrier with the CLC agents, though most are friendly.
My company makes me use this for work & this app alone is enough to make me want to quit. Terrible selection terrible service terrible bugs the list goes on and on. Like I said forced to use it but I would literally pay money not to!!!!
Hotel list doesn’t pop up and you can’t move map around. This app blows
I’ve been using this app for over 1 1/2 years and there are lots of hotels that accept CLC that are not in the directory. Also I was told we can book hotels from the clc app(this is also showing in the pics advertised in app search) and mine does not do that nor is there an app update showing.
Crashes
The app is only useful for finding CLC hotels approved by your company, it doesn't allow you to book from within the app.
