Climb – English Vocabulary

It would be great to see other people’s lists of words. Now I feel lack of new words

This app is just what i needed.Perfect ui 👍🏻 Can’t wait for widgets.

The app in its face value is quite good actually. The problem is that it asks for quite a lot of money(for my region maybe it is cheap for someone else) when you start to actually use it. Yes I know nothing is free and I don’t mean to get thousands of coding hours and design effort for free. However, I hate this cliche marketing/business model technique they are using. Be confident and ask for money pre-download and put a fixed the price. Even though, the app is good it is not a language school. Monthly rates are funny for this kinda service. Because it is not that customised even though it tries hard to seem so...

I downloaded the app and first, I needed a confirmation and it filtered it to scam/Spam. I though nothing of it until it gave me multiple warnings that the same thing was used to scam people and log into their account and do thing with it. Do not download this, it’s a terrible app even if it seems like a dream app. it’s not worth it, I would just find a good study then this.

i only just now downloaded this app and based on the first 10 minutes of usage, i have mixed feelings. the overall idea and execution is relatively nice, however the speaking feature is terrible. i’m not sure exactly what’s wrong with it but it cannot detect most of the words i was trying to say (not user error trust me) and kept saying incorrect to the point where i just had to say i couldn’t speak right now.

The product is useful for English learners who want to build their own word list. However, it has two obvious flaws: inaccurate GIFs and inaccurate voice recognition for word pronunciation. The flaws are acceptable and that’s why I’m still using it. I have a request. Could you add a new setting to stop the Daily Recommendation word list? I use Climb to study the words I want to learn only, and I’m tired of seeing irrelevant words in the daily quiz.

Mostly good, but laggy, incorrect pronunciations for some words, and gif matching to words is difficult especially if the word has multiple meanings.

I really like the approach to learning words in this app, especially the daily 15-minute word practice. However, I would love the ability to customize the GIFs because they don't always convey the word's idea accurately. It would also be great to have the option to choose words for the quiz, as currently they are selected randomly. Overall, I find the app engaging and effective for vocabulary learning.

Could I add words to my list by sharing them from the books app? I i can hit share, choose climb and have it add the word to my list just like I could share to telegram or discord, thx
