Why?
While I use and love Clockify web app, I find it very frustrating that mobile app is missing some of the web app functionality. Specifically, what I do often is track time after half a day or at the end of the day. I usually do 15’ or 30’ blocks, starting for instance at 9am. Web app let’s you enter 9am, enter your 30’ worklog and it smoothly prepares your next input to start at 9:30. I can very easily enter all my worklogs with almost minimal effort. On mobile, I have to enter the start and finish time every time because after every entry, it resets to current time. This renders the app useless for me and I’m forced to uninstall.
Would be a great option to have some kind of “in-app kiosk” for colleagues’ time inputs (in case they arent able to make them themselves - we are manual workers). The othervise good option to add their time spent on the projects via a computer version of Clockify is somewhat time consuming. Great app anyway.
Great app for measure work time. I missing there reports similar to browser app. And creating global tasks.
Functional, but could be more user friendly.
While the desktop (browser) app have a Play button on each existing tracked time entry, the mobile app misses this, so re-launching an existing task means you have to enter all names, projects, tags etc. again 😞 Very painful.
The best design overal.
Great and very smooth, it has all the features needed for time tracking / billing hours project management packed in a simple and beautiful design. Switched from Toggl because of billable rates included in free version, and I absolutely love the dashboard and reports feature. 10/10 recommend!
The app worked pretty well, I was keeping track of how many hours I had in a personal 10,000 hour drawing challenge. But I got randomly signed out, and am unable to get back in. I’ve tried all 3 of my emails that I use, and I’ve tried requesting a password change for each of them, but they weren’t sent to my account. Incredibly frustrating. I’ll likely have to start over with tracking my progress on the app, but I don’t quite remember my exact stats. To be honest, I’m afraid to start again, at risk of losing my progress once more.
This app does a great job letting you enter timed tasks by start and end time, or by start time and duration.
