Definitely a good app in theory but it has some bugs, and for some reason swiping left and right to jump back and forward stopped working with the latest update. Frustrating. Still probably as good or better than most of the alternative apps out there.
I already have CloudBeats and thought this was was super special for AudioBooks.. honestly I can’t find any difference really... they both seem to have the same features. If there are features, it is not apparent. But I’m giving it 5 stars because i like to separate my books from my music… best app of its kind. So easy to use. No sub… just amazing
I didn’t hesitate for a second before buying this app. It has everything I’ve been looking for. It connects to multiple online storage options, including the big names and self-hosted platforms like Nextcloud. This allows me to download content to my device and keep all my audiobooks in one place. Between this app and Audible, I am completely set. Thank you for creating this app; it was a real find!
If there is no rewind or fast forward, does it mean that you can only hear very missable stuff? To be fair, this seems to be a problem with a lot of other such players. Just a rewind 15 seconds, and a forward 15 seconds button would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, a great app. Thanks. Much appreciated.
I found this app did exactly what I needed it to do. Play audio files from my google drive. And while I think the app does its job well for the most part it is extremely annoying in just one area that ruins the whole experience - After listening for some time especially if it’s a long audio series, the app just stops working around the start of a new chapter or at the 2 minute mark. You then have to close the app, reopen it and then navigate the playback to the exact place you left off. It can get very annoying, like when I’m taking a walk or when I’m washing dishes or even more annoying when I’m taking a shower and I have to come out with soap all over just to replay my audio file. I hope this issue gets fixed soon because it’s starting to get old really fast
I want a player that can play from Files stored on the phone and it seems that either this can’t or extremely confusing on how to do it. Also, don’t like how I have to give it full access to ALL Google Drive if I wanna play from Google Drive. That seems very intrusive.
Would get 5 stars if it had a volume booster, besides that it is great app for listening to your audiobooks.
This player works fine...but if you have m4b files with chapter support, there is no way to navigate or view those chapters. The app feels more like a generic mp3 player, not one that specializes in audiobooks. I really hope that chapterized file support is added soon, because the app does a great job at streaming or downloading from cloud services like Google Drive.
I’ve used it for about a month now, and I like it. I wish the time skip intervals were a little more customizable, and that there was some symbol on the tracks to indicate ones marked as “played”.
