Description

In this laboratory you will find a scale model of an elevator car. The goal of this lab is to apply Newton's second law to find the mass ratio between the car and the counterweight, and get the car to travel with a desired acceleration. For this purpose, the free body diagrams and the sum of forces must be carried out, in addition to finding the tension force of the cable, the weight of the car and the weight of the counterweight.
