Much better than duo if you want to learn quickly
I love the gamification of learning a language, the design is quite retro/8bit which i find appealing. The detailed explanation of the phrases and the words is a HUGE plus. The fact I can learn Icelandic is amazing so after two days I subscribed because it is a very convenient and effective app for learning! Highly recommend it to everyone, wish I have found put about it sooner!
Hello. I just have been itching to say that Clozemaster is beautiful. It helps you with vocabulary and context, and with Clozemaster Radio, it helps me with speaking. I just have a few questions. 1. Topics. clozemaster needs topics to help people learn what they want to, and what I mean is instead of things like “fluency fast track 1” have topics like “work” “school” “ordering food” etc. I know that the sentences are selected form Tatobea, but doing the extra work of sorting them into topics would make a big difference for the better. If said features already exist make them for all languages since I’m learning Ukrainian, a language that isn’t really paid attention to
This is a niche language app that serves to continue to keep bolstering and refreshing the mind’s awareness of words in the language you seek to learn As a secondary benefit, it also places those words in a meaningful context so a natural understanding occurs. But, be aware that it is of quite limited value for any beginning learner of a language and if that’s you, you ought to go elsewhere for a foundation before going to Clozemaster in order to get its benefits.
This is like Duolingo but you accomplish so much more learning per minute.
are a great combo. been following for a long time. i really hope they don’t get rid of the lifetime plan. i’d like to get it one day.
As an iOS developer myself, I am impressed by how few bugs are in this app. It is free of crashes on my iPhone and iPad. However, if you are using the app to learn Russian as I am, there is one majorly disappointing issue with this software. The simple fact of the matter is that a ridiculous amount of the translations in this app are straight up wrong. As someone whose Russian is strong, I see it in probably about a third of the translations and I’m having to report incorrect translations every day. I really don’t see how anyone learning Russian with this app can justify paying a ridiculous amount for it with the current issues.
I was so happy to finally find a language learning application with Nahuatl as an option, but I was extremely disappointed by the app. there is no attempt made to actually teach the language, and the only explanation given for anything is AI generated, and self-contradictory. I’m sure the more popular languages have more robust options, but I wouldn’t trust a company that put out something this bad with translating english into english.
And effective
Great way to expand your language vocab i recommend the pro version
