This app make my life 100% easier to manage my comics I stopped buying doubles cuz now I have my collection in my hand love it the price is so worth it I tell everyone I see that still has paper list at my local comic shop. Next time I see them there using it.
I recently subscribed to CLZ and added our collection of over 3K books into the app. I just have to say that this app is AMAZING! My husband was using Stash my Comics which was 7-8 months behind on having titles updated and multiple variants were listed with the incorrect variant letter. I downloaded his collection to a CSV file and ran some excel formulas and added some conditional formatting to organize the titles so I could do batch entries and it made it so much easier. When I came across a cover that didn’t look like something he would buy, I would cross reference it back to the book in Stash just to see that yet another variant was listed wrong. We have now been using the app for a few months and have added all of our recent additions. Adding comics is a breeze with the ability to scan a barcode or add from your pull list items now called NCBD in the app. This app is worth EVERY PENNY and then some!! Thanks to all of the tips we got as well and the amazing customer service from the team at CLZ!
Easy to use Great UI Never have an issue finding a comic. If you collect comics and want to catalog everything, this is all you need.
I have utilized the Collectorz platform all the way back to the beta days. It has always performed well. Additions of new, substantive features added along the way have ensured the system continues to exceed my expectations. Recently I had a self-inflicted issue with the database so I reached out to support for the first time. The troubleshooting guidance they provided was timely and on point. Thanks again for delivering on what was promised all those years ago.
Love the app! Newest update caused an issue when trying to view all issues of a current comic. Causing it to pull up the add comic window instead of viewing the comics in the current run you are looking at.
UPDATE: Developer worked quickly to track down whatever was causing syncing issues and that aspect has been solid ever since. Bumped up to 4-stars. ORIGINAL: In terms of what this app can do to help track and organize your comic collection it’s great. But it also has significant issues, each of which cost it a star: Interface: this is one of the ugliest and least intuitive interfaces I’ve ever seen. It has those “Windows app circa 2005” vibes. You really need to take time to understand how it wants you you to think. It can be overly confusing to know if you’re looking at comics you actually own vs. comics that simply exist. And while this is subjective I find the interface gaudy and ugly. Cloud sync: weekly this will break, and weekly your only resort is to jump to the CLZ forums, complain, and then somebody eventually manually flips a switch to fix it. This is beyond ridiculous, especially when things like iCloud sync exist and work without these headaches. Whatever sync solution is in play it is NOT working and needs a major rewrite or just pivot to a more stable, off-the-shelf solution. In summary: The features are good but the day-to-day use is frustrating and clunky.
Gone are the days of stacks of notebooks, filled with the lists of comics that I may or may not have. CLZ brought my collection into the 21st century, and made everything accessible within seconds! I recently had an issue syncing with the cloud, tech support was immediate and seamless. Issue was resolved in mere seconds. Nothing but positive things to say about CLZ!!
I have been using CLZ for many years. Great app and they have consistent updates incorporating user requests. This is by far the best comic book app I have ever used. It easily keeps my 40+ years of comic collecting organized.
This is a great app to keep track of all your comics and it has a great support staff.
The app on the iPhone crashes each time I make an edit. Uploaded a collection and many books were mistakenly matched to the wrong book. They nickel and dime you for multiple add ins. I will be canceling. Comicbookrealm is older but costs less and offers valuation and mobile/desktop options without charging you for each.
