CMC Invest Singapore Reviews
Worst broker among the well-known
I trade the US markets and have used tiger moomoo webull (these 3 are the best), and more.
This app really cmi.
Cons:
Holdings/total value are shown in SGD only, except for prices and when I execute my order.
Cannot see initial buy price/avg price of holdings
Profit and loss doesn’t work
Market data/updating of prices are bad compared to the other brokers
Oversimplified
Pros:
tradingview integration though i dont need it
Orders are sent to email
Clean interface, helps me focus on what is really important
App is not overly complicated which I love. Great welcome offer and free trades which allows me to DCA regularly. Enjoying my experience so far
User friendly app
Have been using the app for the past 6 months and I like the interface a lot. It’s user-friendly and the clean design makes it perfect for beginners so that it is not so intimidating. I like the transparency and the breakdown of the fees shown at the point of trade. There’s also free trades so it’s definitely worth using. Perhaps there could be a trade counter so I know how many free trades are left but other than that great app!
Free Trades
This app interface wasn’t a “wow” to be honest - it’s workable but it’s not modern or simplified enough unlike many other brokerages.
However, impressed with their transparency in terms of their pricing charges, and there is no hidden charges. Ideal for people who just started investing especially students as the free trades really stop those fees from eroding your returns.
Offered a lot of markets and really have many flexibility. There is a section telling if the stock is overvalued or undervalued and overall everything is really straightforward - after every trade order made, you will receive confirmation, notifications and when it is executed, you receive an email in detailed - everything is black and white.
Good experience - fast sign up, bugless app, and attractive new user promos!
The worst investment company
Don’t fall for the empty promise and their useless influencers link . Just wasting my time to signup
User interface
When searching on a stock using Ticker symbol, it usually take a few tries to be able to get it to appear on the search. Best way is to type slower so that the system can register… Pls work on the search system.
Dividends not paid
It has been 3 weeks and my dividends have not been paid… CMC cannot be trusted
More stock markets
Needs to expand more stock markets like in the Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Asia: China and few others, also Europe: some of the ones not yet added.
Mostly Satisfied
Great UX- would be 5 stars if they had fast payments from my bank accounts and automatic/ recurring investments. Those are the only 2 things stopping me from completely switching to CMC
