I am not getting notifications either in-app or by email anymore that my books are ready to be picked up. I’ve missed out on my turn from wait lists and now I’m having to get back in at the end of the line. It’s frustrating because I never had this issue with the old app. Please bring back notifications!
The previous version of this app worked fine on my IPad. This version was designed for a cell phone so when opened only takes up a small portion of screen. And I couldn’t log in with previous version so had to update. This is very poor design.
The old app was a lot better than this one as far as performance goes. Every time I bring up the app while I’m the library (and it doesn’t matter which library location) it just gives me a blank screen with the wheel. So I cannot bring up my library card to check out books. Even outside the library it takes a long time for the first screen to appear. The old app started real fast and made checking out books a breeze. Whatever they did to this new app is terrible. Fix this issue and I’ll give a better review. I’m extremely disappointed with this new app. You dropped the ball big time.
Why fix something that worked well? The new app makes it harder for me to access my books and is buggy, i.e., links go nowhere, I have to keep logging in, but get internal server errors, and my iPad app is now an enlarged iPhone app, the worst change for a tablet. So frustrated making holds, looking up books, etc. Please get rid of this.
Not as easy to access your card for checking books out; no barcode to scan. I also no longer am receiving emails that books are ready for pickup. The old app was more user friendly
I was perfectly happy with the old app for my iPad. Now it is too small. Don’t like this at all.
All I can say is “yuck”. You broke my library app. I work from a 10inch tablet, this new app just sits phone size in the middle of my screen. Don’t like what was done to a perfectly good app.
This app is SO cute and efficient. I really reflects the strong sense of community I think CML is going for. Most of all, I love that it’s the same look for both IOS and Android, something that didn’t occur in the last app. Congrats on the new launch! Everyone involved did great.
Logged in to my account and saw my checkouts, history and everything else I expected. Great app.
