CO-OP Driver

The COOP app works as expected.

Tried uploading docs and saving my progress but doesn’t save anything. Also won’t move past proof of dashcam. Does that mean it’s a requirement? Who knows - there’s no info about that either way so??? Appreciate that this is a new app and idea for CO but if even basic functions don’t exist what’s it like for the rider version? A ‘Help’ feature would make sense as well.

I’m California based driver and so excited for this new app and no idea when they’ll launch the app so we can start working but hopefully this will be better than uber ride and Lyft

I recently signed up with the Drivers Cooperative through their app, and I initially expected the process to be straightforward. However, it has proven to be more challenging than anticipated. Despite submitting all the required information two weeks ago, I have yet to receive any updates. In an attempt to follow up, I sent an email to the Drivers Cooperative’s information email. To my surprise, I received a response the next day at 1:13 AM from a representative named Valerie. She informed me that once the application is complete, I should text “DONE” to a number or email, but she didn’t clarify where exactly to send this message. This lack of clear communication has made the process frustrating and cumbersome. I’m eager to start working, but it seems that despite having applications open, the Cooperative is not currently hiring. Additionally, reaching someone for further assistance has been challenging, as my multiple emails have gone unanswered.

I went through this whole process, but then it said it need $300 a year for me to drive for them that’s unreal so you want 50 bucks right now and then you’ll take the $250 at the end of December. What’s the purpose in that?
