Device compatibility
For security reasons, you’ll need to be using iOS 15 or above. You also will not be able to use the app if your device is jailbroken.
If you are not able to update, you can log into online banking to access your accounts.

We collect non-personal user data to monitor how well the app works. For example, measuring how long you spend on a particular screen. We collect a limited amount of personal data to allow you to use the app, for fraud prevention purposes & to help us to fix problems & improve the app for everyone. Still unable to get Credit Card transactions
Credit card transactions are deleted when a statement is due. There is a gap between that and the statement being available. leaving neither a statement or a transaction record. It’s a nightmare to keep track of transactions this way. With my old bank the info was available on a timeline, as with Cooperative’s current accounts. This made keeping track 100% easier.

Worst banking app ever
Having tried and failed with the co-op business banking app (we’ve now shut down our accounts) this one is almost as bad. We now use starling for business - it allows you to scan in cheques, and is light years ahead of this app in security and functionality. Plus the co-op one crashes on a weekly basis. Including yet again today. And co-op has yet to take ANY responsibility for their constant failures. Go elsewhere for banking and apps-this thing is about 20 years out of date!

I’ve been a coop bank customer for a long time, 20+ years. They’re a good bank but are always slow with development. It took than a long time to update their banking app. The online statements are poor too. Unlike my other accounts you cannot download searchable excel files. More stingy to computers t this I have tried to join an open connect banking app to help budget but apparently coop don’t support open banking. I think I might finally have to move accounts.
Very outdated
I so want this app to be better. I like everything the coop bank stands for but sadly this app is very outdated. So hard to find relevant things, far too much text, difficult to navigate….It’s clunky and barely works. Hoping coop invest in this and look to competitors such as Monzo and Starling to streamline and improve the user interface. I’m hanging in there until then and hope the wait isn’t too much longer!!
Why do transactions take so long?
Hi Coop, I’m in the process of switching from Barclays to Coop as want to have a better bank. However the speed of transaction processing concerns me, why does paying my coop ccard from my coop current account take 2days? It should be instant!! Welcome a response to this.
