The CO₂free climate protection app is your tool for active climate protection. You can record your CO₂ footprint via the CO2free app.
We measure the CO₂ emissions of your mobility. We also measure your digital footprint caused by your surfing behaviour, photos and videos in your cloud.
We'll reward you for every real CO₂ reduction you prove during the comparison period. From summer 2022, we can make you an offer to sell your CO₂ savings to us. The climate is changing, are you?
The collected CO₂ reductions of our users in the here and now result in CO₂free compensation certificates, which companies can take into account as compensation in their CO₂ balancing, which will be mandatory from 2023, for those emissions that cannot yet be avoided through reductions.

Great approach to fight the climate crisis
The app is really handy to give you an idea how big your co2footprint is. On this foundation it is much easier to reduce your emissions. Great approach!
Am Anfang mal super…
Bis zum Erhalt von Gutscheinen hat die App super funktioniert. Ab dem Punkt, wo man sie theoretisch gehabt hätte, lädt sie nicht mehr hoch und bleibt beim Öffnen im Startbild.
Fantastische Idee, geniale Umsetzung
CO2 sparen per Wisch - warum ist da vorher noch keiner drauf gekommen? Finde ich gut und einfach zu bedienen.
Login Fehler
Ich nehme an, es ist eine gute App, aber ich habe ein Login Problem: ich registriere mich (funktioniert), melde mich an (sagt mir, diese email sei nicht registriert). Leider schlecht. Ich hoffe es liegt einfach an den Servern.
Geht auch ohne
Schöne App aber total unnötig, mein CO2 Verbrauch wird mir doch auch nicht erklär und auch nicht wie ich individuell CO2 einsparen kann…
Binnen-I + Daten
Die App setzt auf das Binnen-I und ist somit für normal sprechende Deutsche nicht nutzbar. Weiterhin wird zur Nutzung der App ein Account benötigt! Wozu braucht eine App, welche den Co2-Abdruck berechnen soll meine E-Mail-Adresse und meinen vollen Namen?!
Langes Scrollen nicht möglich
Hallo, wenn man wirklich alte Fotos mit der app löschen will stößt die App leider an ihre Grenzen. Nach einiger Zeit bricht die App einfach ab und man muss wieder von vorn beginnen. Was leider wieder nur in einem Abbruch endet💁♂️. Klar man könnte die Fotos sehr einfach in der Fotoapp löschen aber man will ja die „Leaves“ bekommen. Daher bitte bohrt die App mal auf. So ist Sie nicht wirklich gut zu gebrauchen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Steven Ps. Was leider beim Surfen nicht beachtet wird ist wenn man zb. mit Ecosia surft.😏
