When I try to open App, it doesn’t open. I deleted app and reinstalled, didn’t help. I’ve been using app on my iPod for years. It worked in the last week. What’s up?
Update: After contacting CTC support, I was informed they do not support the iPod. No help offered, nothing. They didn’t care they were loosing a longtime subscriber. I cancelled my Coast Insider subscription which I’ve had, using my iPods, for over 20 years time!
Love Coast to Coast
Sometimes I listen on the app when it’s not on the air other times I used iheart. App works great with my iPhone12pro max! Sometimes I listen on the app just to enjoy the bumper music when it’s live. Sometimes it’ takes a few minutes to start up when they are live so I’ll switch over from iheart to the app about 15-20 minutes after it has started that’s the only issue I’ve had. It doesn’t start immediately at some times when the show is live. Other than that keep doing what you’re doing over there at Coast to Coast.
Still worst app
Glad I❤️radio works all the time 3/4 of the week have to listen to C2C on it.
Love coast to coast but app is full of bugs
As the title suggest, coast to coast is great. There’s a lot of great content and the search indexing is nice.
My primary complaint is the amount of bugs in this app. Downloads often don’t work. I close and reopen and thankfully it will remember my place but I have to close and reopen to play another broadcast. There’s quite a few others.
I will continue to keep being a member but wish they’d work some of these out.
A horrible app
This review should not be confused with the Coast to Coast show, which is great. That said, this is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. There was a major update to the app in the last year, and it actually got worse.
To play a downloaded audio, you have to start the audio while your still connected to the Internet. You can disconnect from the Internet after you start playing the audio, but there’s no way to Start the audio without being on the Internet. So if you’re in a location that doesn’t have Internet service, you can’t play a downloaded audio. Obviously, that’s the whole point of downloading an audio, to be able to play it when you don’t have an Internet connection. This was a “negative feature” they added in the last update. You used to be able to play downloaded audios while not connected to the Internet.
The auto player itself has also been downgraded in the last update. It’s now very difficult to rewind. (or go backward) in an audio.
Also, unlike in prior versions of the app, there’s no place you can go that shows all the shows that have been downloaded. The problem, of course, is that the data storage for the app just keeps getting larger and larger. At some point I’m going to have to just uninstall the app to remove all the old downloads from my phone.
Like I said, the show is great. But the management team must have hired someone’s high school kid to design the last version of their app.
App is broken
Every time I try and log in it redirects me to the opening page. Tried costumer service but they said the could not duplicate the issue. I tried deleting and uploading the app numerous times on ipad pro and iphone 13.
Big fan
Been a fan for 20 years. George is the man.
12:22 no show
As usual the app stinks
Orientation
This app will not go into landscape mode on an iPad. Come on developers get with the current technology.
Very Poor for Todays Age in Apps and GUI
The GUI for this app. The graphical user interface. The view the user interacts with. In todays app age and usage of machines it is extremely poor that this app does NOT orientate landscape for an iPad where many users now use Ipad Pros as thier main device with keyboards that turn the device into a laptop like exprience. It is well past time for this app to be updated to use as landscape, as well as the phone orientation. It boggles the mind that this simple code input is not utilized like the VAST majority of other apps at this point in time. The lasdscape on iPad scene is nothing new. AS WELL, you get some 80 some pages of shows to interact with on the insider scene. BUT, to get to page 80 one needs to hit the forward button 79 times. Really C2C this is pure ridiculous. NO querry other than a blind search to get to shows in the catalog as an insider. THIS IS EXTREMELY POOR and plain just discourages running shows, and definately eliminates the catalog of shows into genres, guest, topics, etc... A blind search is the only option in the search bar. This is unsatisfactory for todays apps and thier capabilities and makes the yearly fee not worth much at all. I highly suggest thinking about these limitations before laying down you hard earned money for this OUTSIDER APP.
