This is by far my favourite app find of the year. A beautifully designed little gem of a thing. It’s a fantastic way to keep and sort notes and does brilliant (free!) voice to text transcription to boot. It’s replaced my iPhone notes app and Lucidity, a dream app I used until stumbling upon CocoonWeaver by chance. Bravo to the developer, you can tell it’s a real labour of love ❤️
Great app for taking notes, it has helped me to be able to quickly record things before I forget. The formatting available for the cocoons means notes are sorted in an organised and easy to access way. The ability to format the home screen means I can store relevant cocoons together eg University, work, lifestyle.
A great app that I am using daily and have my different cocoons for different avenues of reflection and relay of thoughts. Thanks for creating this!
Ended up deleting it and using voice memos. The transcript was really off too. Cute layout though :/
The ability to record stuff is great! Even better when the app automatically transcribes however the fact I can’t edit a transcript to fix typos or words is a pain in the ass :/. I think it would also be good if you were able to create your own custom sections to record stuff in.
Does exactly what it says and does it well: offline transcription! It even has notifications to remind you to make a note. I like to use the moment to think of things I’m thankful for. Great tool for mindfulness.
Really love using this as an aide mémoire and for longer ramblings. Feels safe, personal and just right for me. I’m going to try it for recording my presentations too.
Works really well for capturing those last things at night/on the go thoughts
Found this on Reddit originally and glad I did now I use this instead of the voice recording that comes with iOS
