Engaging and helpful

The method is to present you with the code for short programs, or parts of programs, and ask you to fill in gaps (lines of code or arguments) to achieve the stated aims. When you get it right you move on to the next line of code, or the next program. There is plenty of help along the way, and you get to see the output of the program. This is an engaging method that reinforces the rules being learned without a lot of unnecessarily tedious code writing. Whether it actually equips you to write code from scratch I have to wait to find out.

Pay twice?

I love this app. Finally I have found something that will get me far enough to make use of a programming language. I started on iPad, paid for the whole course, then found it’s more convenient to use my phone. But the app won’t let me switch devices without paying again! REALLY???

Great app for beginners!

i’ve never coded in swift before but have experience in python and this app is really good at going through and explaining steps to program in swift! i love it! however the video tutorials don’t work unfortunately thank you developers for making this!!

Good teaching technique

So far so good...

I’m working my way through the task. It can be a little hard as you have to use your own logic to complete some of the task as some of the lessons don’t hint to well at what should be written or in what way. But it fun. Great app. Really appreciate it. Edit: This is for dev. There is one issue I’ve come across. When you’re prompted to write on any line below 8 you can see what’s written without closing the keyboard which is a pain. If you could add a scroll fiction when in keyboard mode that would improve the useable a little more. I’m using an iPhone btw. Again love the app, just that one thing could be done to improve just a little more.

App keeps crashing
