Description

Jahrhundert.

Antique ID Reviews

App with Modern L&F and Potential

salo70 on

Germany

I really like the L&F of this application, this one has great potential. However, for me to replace the gold standard UnicodeChecker, a lot is missing, for example services that allow text conversion in other apps, etc.

Really like it so far, search could be improved a bit

f.beer on

Germany

Great work! I really like that it's so native, and it feels super fast. I tried to search for some unicode chars which I did not find. Like I wanted the basic right-arrow, but could not find it. Tried to find it with typing `→`, since I often know the html code but need it as a character to copy, but this also does not work. I ended up finding it in the collections from the sidebar. Also, what would be great is, if we could pin the app into the status bar.

Great app

Looks good and is very functional. Love it.

Extremely sluggish

somesounds on

United States

This would be really useful, except it is kind of a pain to use because of how sluggish the entire app runs, even on Apple silicon chips. Scrolling through the list is a choppy, sluggish experience. I usually opt to just do a Google search or use macOS’s built in Character Viewer to find the unicode symbols I need because of this.

SF Symbols

MEDS777 on

United States

I bought this application because I needed the SF Symbols; the problem is when you choose a symbol in 3D you get it as a "?" mark. If you want to copy any symbol in 2D or 3D you paste it and what you get? you get the "?" mark. If this is fixed than I give a 5 stars otherwise it is useless.

Almost Perfect…

SimplyInquiring on

United States

This app is well-designed with various features but lacks one key aspect that would elevate it to perfection - keyboard support. It would be fantastic if we could access all the symbols directly from our keyboard to insert, copy, or share them from anywhere. Hopefully, this will be a feature that will be considered and implemented in the future to make it 5 stars ;)

Great app for finding emojis and misc. symbols…

Love it! So simple to just copy the emoji or symbol and paste wherever you wish. Highly recommended!
