Colgate Connect

The latest update includes a “brushing streak” to remind you how awful you are if you don’t manage to brush your teeth before midnight every day. For those of us who might work late, this is suboptimal. I understand this might work for some people, but you should be able to turn this feature off. Or at least be able to set the time of day the clock resets (2 AM would work better for me). Otherwise it would be four or five star app. UPDATE : latest version (2.15.0) has a bug where the “streak” bubbles don’t even color in. So… great? I guess? No, it’s lame. If you’re going to have that feature it should work.

I used to not brush my teeth that much but after I got Colgate I gave something to work for and helped me learn about teeth and toothbrushes to due to the daily questions. The only problem I have with this app is that it doesn’t always calculate offline brushing and I lost some of my progress but still very good and helped me not get cooked by the dentist every time I go there.

After discontinuing the Colgate HUM Device itself, instead of continuing to support the app for existing users who purchased such expensive devices or adding new features to the app, they’ve now been on a consistent streak of slowly removing features without replacing them to force users to buy another one of their toothbrushes. First they removed the angle check feature, then the brushing game, and now the diary which just straight up angers me. The definition of planned obsolescence. This should be illegal. I’m filing a complaint against the company.

For the past couple months I’ve been unable to login. I get an error message that said “unable to create account please try again later” I sent screenshots to Colgate and I got an email back about whether or not my page was stuck on calculating points which is not the error that I described. I heard nothing back for over a week.

Phone is recognizing the brush but the app keeps saying that it’s not connected. I don’t have a way to forget the device option in the Bluetooth setting

It’s seems like the app isn’t doing as well like it used to. Its freezes sometimes.

App doesn’t work. Can’t create an account or anything.

I’ve use your toothbrush and app years. But after recent updates I can’t login nor register a new account. The app just showed something went wrong, please try again later. I hate to say this but if I can keep using the app. I will switch to some other brand.

Why are you getting rid of GoPirate!?!!! WHY!!!!😡🥺 It’s a good app.
