Slowly becoming disappointing
One year ago, I left a very positive review for collanote, which was completely true, i was very happy that i found a free and basically bug free note taking app even if it was still in development. Unfortunately, after a year of being a loyal user of this app, I am beginning to feel more and more disappointed of what is becoming of collanote. This app advertises itself as a free app, but the advertisement for buying the app keeps popping up when you’re trying to do your work. It’s a minor detail, but after a while, it becomes very frustrating and annoying. Not to mention the app has become very buggy. For example, if you try switching between a powerpoint saved inside the app and a note inside the app, after like 3 minutes of switching around you get thrown out of the app and have to do everything over again. If you have notes or exercise notes saved in the cloud of the app, say goodbye to those notes - half the time they don’t even save. Sometimes when you try to erase something you scribbled in a note, it doesn’t actually erase, so you have to exit the app for the text to actually erase itself. Same thing with duplicating or moving a text inside the note. Of couse these are small details, but over time they become extremely inconvenient, especially when you know that these problems never occurred when the app was younger than it is now. I don’t know if these bugs and inconveniences appear if you buy the app, but the minor chance that they might, I recommend to just invest your money on a different paid note taking app with fixed bugs and honest advertising.
