The App has some good scholarship Info, but there are other, better resources. BEWARE! The app Requires user to Turn On App Tracking to use the app. This allows College Raptor to track All of YOUR Activity. The minimal info the app provides is NOT worth the invasion of privacy!
I entered my EFC, which is around 47000 (I am in the 160k range). I know that for colleges like Princeton or other Ivy Leagues, they give great financial aid which would nearly cover all of my tuition. The app said I would have to pay close to my EFC for the college.
I used this app really early in my college process, before I had any idea where I wanted to go. This app lets you look at different colleges through filters, and it’s really helpful. I’m actually going to a college that I found on this app. Good luck to everyone searching! And make sure to check out Vassar College!

I wanted to go to University of Minnesota and was concerned on whether or not I would get a scholarship. I needed $10,000 a year and I knew the calculator was estimations off of past information. It said I should get around $15,000 and I was hoping that even if it was off I could get $10,000. I got my hopes up and got $3,000. $12,000 off of an estimation is not okay.
I used the app in the first place to see what colleges were around me and how much scholarship money I could get in addition to my acceptance rate, but now it won't show me any of it. It's just blank, I'm not sure why. Maybe a glitch? I killed the app, didn't work. I deleted and reinstalled but that didn't work either. I'm feeling frustrated.
I'm an average student at best and it estimated that I'd get nearly a full ride scholarship to Harvard. All around inaccurate.
