Description

CollX (pronounced “collects”) answers the question every collector has: “What’s it worth?” The app lets you scan most cards; it’s not just a baseball card scanner! Scan football, wrestling, hockey, soccer, or basketball cards — as well as TCG cards like Pokemon, Magic, and Yu-Gi-Oh! — and instantly identify it and get the average market value. Once you’ve scanned your cards, add them to your collection and track your portfolio. With v2.0 of CollX we've added a marketplace, where you can purchase cards with a credit card, get shipping and tracking, and earn cash selling your cards to other collectors. Turn the hobby into your side hustle!

COLLX SPORTS AND TCG SCANNER
CollX’s visual search technology instantly recognizes and matches against a database of 17+ million sports cards and trading cards. After identifying the best match, you’ll immediately get the current average market price for the card. Our deep-learning models were created by a team with 10+ years experience developing image recognition technology. In addition to being able to match most RAW cards, CollX will also identify graded cards with barcodes, as well as parallel and reprint versions of cards.

BUY AND SELL
New in v2.0 of CollX is the Marketplace, where you can buy cards using a credit card, Apple Pay, CollX Credit, and your balance on the app. Use Deals to bundle multiple cards and make an offer to the Seller. As a Seller, you can utilize several shipping options, including CollX Envelope, where you'll get tracked shipping for as little as $0.75! Other Seller Tools include the ability to set a bulk discount and to decide if you want to accept Offers. Cards bought through the CollX Marketplace are also covered by the CollX Protect policy, where payments are only released when the cards arrive at the Buyer, giving peace of mind to both parties in a deal.

GET HISTORICAL PRICING
CollX uses millions of historical auction prices to calculate a card’s average value. As you add cards to your collection, you’ll see your overall portfolio value grow. Set conditions or grades on your cards and get more accurate prices. As your cards rise or fall in value, CollX helps you track both individual card values and your overall portfolio value. No more wondering what your Pokémon card value is!

BUILD YOUR CARD COLLECTION
Create and keep track of your card values. View your collection as a grid, list, or as sets. You can also filter and sort your cards by a variety of criteria — value, date added, year, team, etc. With CollX Pro, you can export your collection as a CSV. You can also view your sets, see how close you are to completion, and generate printable checklists to help track down cards you're missing from a set.

SEARCH CARDS
Search 17+ million cards in our database. See what cards on CollX are listed for sale right in search results. And if you find a card you own, but don’t have it handy to scan, you can easily add it from any of the records in the CollX database.

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.

Hopeless

NateFilewood on

No matter how new (recent) the card is, the app can never find the dang thing. Absolutely useless

Bad

It doesn’t let me add anymore cards to my collection without having to pay monthly and if you live in Canada like me you won’t be able to buy cards.

Don’t be Canadian

Big spinner Murf81 on

If your a Canadian your waisting your time and money. Great for getting cards vale but that’s it. You can trade but most people won’t if your not able to trade threw the app. If your Canadian you cannot put your address in to make trades. Sooooo if you want your vale that’s it.

A bit clunky

Winley Anne on

I’m using the app to enter in my old hockey cards, mid 80’s to early 90’s, and it seems to be working okay so far. The problem I have is that if you come across a duplicate card that you previously entered, you have to leave the set and search for the player again. It really slows down the process of entering cards. Would be far easier to have set checklists for entering and browsing. For me it’s all about the ease of entering hundreds of cards and there is definitely room for improvement on that front.

Requires subscription over 500 cards :/

Extremepoo on

Man I really wanted to love this app. I didn’t have many issues scanning my cards in and if one wasn’t recognized I could just search it by the set and number and put it in that way. That part is great! But then I got to scanning in my 500th card and it asked me to buy a pro account, which is probably fine for a lot of people buying and selling lots of cards but I just wanted to catalogue mine better. This part kind of stinks. If you’re serious about buying and selling cards NOW, go nuts. But if you just like collecting and cataloguing like me, might not be for you.

Player / card search

Goofy100:) on

Lately when I am trying to change the type of card and player. I search up the players name and all I get are random cards with people who have one of the players name in their name. (I search up Brad Marchand and results I get are Ed Marchand and I don’t get any Brad Marchand)

Don’t ship to Canada

kris godbout on

Please tell me when you guys are going to make it so people in Canada can get there cards

I like Pokémon cards

Annoying problem

anonymous3382 on

Even though I think this app is useful and nice, it is quite annoying that when I go to scan cards, I can’t scan anything below the Pokémon cards on the tab the pops up. If that was fixed, instant five star !

Don’t waste your time!

Not toohappy on

After the app came out I scanned in just over 2000 cards, was going to use to keep track of my collection, but after weeks of scanning the company seem to have changed the app now it will not let me scan anymore of my collection unless I spend $$$ to upgrade the version to a pay version, besides it has problems finding a lot of the cards and especially special cards, also the pricing is way off and my collection value keeps dropping randomly money money money is all they want and don’t care about the quality of the app I will be deleting my collection and this app, should have known better when the app came out it said you will be able to keep track of your collection but once you invest hundreds of hours scanning in your cards then the app stops you from continuing to add more unless you pay waste of time and too expensive for what you get greed kills a lot of potential projects sad.
