Colour detection
Nice app thanks, yep that’s how we spell colour in Australia and other parts of the world, something to think about when marketing. I think the colour detection via the camera could do with some tweaking, if you made it so that it detected a slightly larger area of colour under the pointer and then averaged out all those colours to come up with the average for that area this might overcome some of the issues where the colour detected seems different to what we see with our eyes. At the moment I feel like it’s calculating the detected colour based on a single pixel under the pointer. It might be an idea to have the size of this detection area user definable so that you could go from say a single pixel all the way up to an average for the entire screen with options in between. That would allow a user to check the average colour for an entire landscape for instance. Or you could go even further and allow the user to take a photo and determine the most common colours in that scene (allow user to determine how many colours to break it down into). This would allow the user to easily develop an entire palette based on a scene.
