Color Identifier Reviews

Good app!

MichaelBoston on

United States

On the free version so have to watch the porn ads first and then the pointer is so small it’s hard to know what it’s giving you detail on. If you give the RGB values to ChatGPT, it will tell you how to mix the actual paint.

Useful and fun

Fun. I love to see what colors all these f my things are. Very useful. I would definitely recommend.

The Color description Kees on changing with lighting and changing the object position

Where are the Pantone entries?

Joe Blow 07 on

United States

App’s screenshots SPECIFICALLY shows Pantone swatch data along with the usual RGB/CMYK/Hex data. But download app, agree to the subscription, and not only does it bug you with a pop up “How can we make this better?” before you’ve been allowed to even DO anything, but once you get the image or snapshot up to scan for colors, it gives you the usual data…but NO PANTONE ANYWHERE and no way that I can find anywhere to get that info. DON’T SHOW SOMETHING IN THE PREVIEW SCREENSHOTS THAT YOUR APP DOESN’T ACTUALLY OFFER. Just for that alone, one star and I immediately deleted app/canceled before I could get charged for this waste of time.

Random color picker

FryDaFish on

United States

Doesn’t follow the color on screen. Just pops up a random number/color every time you move the screen. Ranging from blue to black to white to red for the same spot

Terrible

SnackingOnGlass on

United States

How is this app a 4.7. The colors are completely wrong, it can’t differentiate between shadows and light. Plus the price is way to expensive and it tries to confuse you into making a purchase. Extremely predatory app. Deleted.

The app is truly amazing as to how accurate it can be. I’m really glad I found it and I look forward to using it when I paint the house. Great work thanks again.
