Die Comet Book APP zeigt wann und wo Kometen beobachtet werden können.
Die Richtung und Höhe des Kometen kann sich innerhalb eines Tages, auf Grund der schnellen scheinbaren Bewegung, drastisch ändern.
Der Mond und helle Sterne können, als Orientierungspunkte, das Auffinden von Kometen erleichtern. Die APP unterstützt zudem beim Ausrichten von Beobachtungsequipment.
Die neue 3D Sonnensystem-Ansicht zeigt die Bewegungen von Planeten und Kometen auf ihren Umlaufbahnen um die Sonne.
