Commune is a course platform for personal and societal well-being. We create video courses with the world’s leading teachers across yoga and fitness, mindfulness, food and health, sustainability, and civic engagement.
Our courses help people bring their best selves into the world: Ease into a yoga practice with Adriene Mishler, explore the nature of reality with Deepak Chopra, take control of your healthcare with Dr. Mark Hyman, learn how to improve your relationships with Marianne Williamson, unwind implicit racial bias with Evelyn Carter, and much more.
With the Commune app you can now watch and listen to courses offline, make playlists of your favorite videos, and screencast via Chromecast, Airplay, or Bluetooth.

Buyer beware!! I have been thoroughly disappointed with the Commune app. When you see all of the flashy and heartfelt advertisements you truly feel like this app / program is different. It’s not. The advertisements claim that with one membership you have access to everything. This is far from true.
Once you purchase the app and start browsing through it, you realize that all of the in-depth courses are available at an additional fee. We aren’t talking another $10-$15, we are talking hundreds. Quite a scam if you ask me. They essentially get you super excited about learning about a specific health-related subject and then feed you just enough content with your lifetime membership that you start to really understand a topic and then you learn that you have to pay for the extended / advanced programs if you really want to learn the important and sought-after information.
Very disappointed.
If I had known about this prior to purchasing I would have re-considered.
Commune is everything
I love this app, the best health tool out there. Well-produced, all encompassing, highly intelligent, lots of diversity in their teachers from different walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Bravo Commune.
Best app
If I had to choose only one app to keep on my phone it would be Commune. I use it every day. It changed my life and my routine in so many ways. The content is dense and rich but very well divided in small lessons. I’ve learned sooo much.
Could not even connect
I was excited about this platform because a couple of teachers I respect are part of it. However, the whole thing seems dodgy. Poor customer service, slow and unsatisfying. Inability to even connect with my account that I created. I never was able to actually watch a course or class. Privacy and security measures are absent, so I could not feel safe that my personal information was protected. I gave up after a couple of days.
Where I was??
I want to continue where I left the video after closing the app. It is so hard to search where I was.
14-day trial does not work
As I subscribed to annual subscription, 14-day free trial is offered as a deal. The Commune website claims that they will remind me as the end of trial window approaches. Even after providing payment information, I cannot access any of the courses. I’m sure these courses are life changing but I’ve no way to verify. I’m truly disappointed with this experience. I’ll not recommend Commune to anyone.
Beware of the auto renew
Yet another company that subscribes to an unfair and deceptive auto renew policy.
Very frastrating
I paid $50 for a course that I’m unable to use because the platform is not thought out at all. The videos do not play on the web. They start and stop randomly although I have no connectivity issues on any other websites at the time. The only way to download the videos to avoid this problem is to a phone or a tablet but the size of the video will be too small to be able to truly learn anything. Nevertheless I tried and was not even able to log into the app because I originally logged into the website using facebook account and this option does not exist with an app. I tried creating a password and received an email with a link that does not work. I pressed the CONTACT US button on the website but that link is broken as well. I would not recommend dealing with this company until they figure out how to create a platform that works.
Years of solid courses
I have been using the Commune app for a few years because it has some of my favorite teachers. I am impressed with the way it is organized, how easy it is to move through the course because of its bite-size pieces. I love that it has such a big variety.
I feel that what I have learned has made an impact in my life. Right now I started sharing a new course on hypnotherapy with my teenage daughter when we drive to school. I feel that since our time is limited, I want to share information that we can both enjoy learning and using.
Helpful and Useful Content
I found Commune’s content to be so helpful and useful to my mental and emotional health that I invested in a lifetime membership during a recent sale (it goes on sale for 50% off from time to time). I appreciate that the context is continually being updated and that it is all accessible via the iPad app, iPhone app, and computer. The app works well for me. I don’t have any problem accessing the content, other than occasional slow loading of large summit courses, and haven’t had any issues signing in.
