My wireless stick worked well with an old Mac mini iPad but there is a problem with a Mac mini iPad Gen 5 running IOS 15.7. The back browser arrow won’t respond when selected. This means the app has to be closed down, restarted in order to choose a new file. This app version needs an update. Potentially Great but unreliable
This app and Wi-Fi USB stick seemed a good way to backup photos and movies from an iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately the app seems to stall when backing up and needs restarting. In addition when connected to my local internet connected WiFi network it regularly looses the connection. Very annoying. I also think the interface on the app needs reworking to be more user friendly. Please fix the problems with this app and device.
Worse still is a total failure of the company to even put any resources into fixing the software problems. There has been no app update for 4 years.
Update required!
No longer works. What a waste of two sandisk wifi sticks that I've been using for a couple of years.
Need upgrading
This looks like a good app but I have found out it doesn’t play mp4 format videos. And it is not very responsive as well.
Worked great when I first had it
Not sure what happened along the way but the in-app browser ‘back’ button doesn’t work and videos are not displaying. A blank screen that’s continually loading with audio is all I’m getting. Before the Netflix and Disney downloads became a thing, this used to be great for watching videos on the go. Now it’s just Bug City at it’s finest
Doesn’t work
It does not work!
Stopped working
Doesn’t work anymore. As other’s have mentioned, think it’s to do with IOS upgrade. Please fix it!!!!!!!!
Won’t work on new IOS
This has been a great app until recently. I have used it for years to access and display PDF’s, photos, videos (mp4), and more.
However, it no longer plays mp4’s or music files.
I think it may be due to one of the recent IOS updates. I am on 14.2 and it doesn’t work.
Sandisk, please fix ASAP.
Crash bonanza
i tried transferring 208 gopro files (vids and photos) in one go. Crash upon crash. Reduce down to 30 files at a time, still crashing. Come on, fix this trash. What did I pay money for?
user interface needs work
User interface very basic and primitive. Better integrate it with your usual file management app, like DOCUMENTS by Readdle, it is a much more graphic interface and can handle SANDISK as WEBDAV service. Recently the upload function doesn't work any more on the drive by wifi, always transfers 0-bytes. Only way to add files is by USB from computer. Download still works, wonder how long. The drive is now about 1 year old.
