ConnectSense Reviews

Unable to add device

badkeyonce on

United States

App just crashes every time I attempt to add a device.

Update from Company

zedek12 on

United States

Just talked to their support team… They no longer support this product, and it is no longer being made… Time to switch to a better solution.

The most unstable app

Maxby on

United States

Even when your device does eventually connect to this app it won’t be for long. It takes multiple 10-30 tries to pair. After a few weeks in wall plug needs to be factory reset and it’s all over again.

Good hardware with garbage software

Greg129 on

United States

The app crashes constantly - trying to add device, trying to update device, trying to add existing HomeKit device, trying to login with Apple iCloud. The outlets aren't any better: pairing them takes an hour of back and forth.

Dropped access to HomeKit

Robotik Zoo on

United States

Used to be great app (but krufty UI) for granular control of HomeKit devices & automatons. Recent update dropped access to devices throughout Home. ...I don't have any ConnectSense devices, but would have paid for the old app control.

please add this feature…

strellyman on

United States

Please add more accurate estimate energy usage by incorporating electricity time of day usage rates.

App Instantly Crashes

Gordo619 on

United States

For several months now, this app continually crashes upon open. Uninstall, power cycle, reinstall… Makes no difference. No support documentation online or elsewhere, so save yourself from frustration and avoid.

Gets worse with every new update

IBM5237@* on

United States

It’s a disaster, every update makes the use of the app more convoluted and difficult to work. Talk about building something with your hands and destroying it with you feet. My devices are un-programmable at this point, cannot even remove them from the app.

Connectsense customer service is superb!

Tealie-o on

United States

I had one device with a firmware issue and another that just wouldn’t pair. The app didn’t help any at first, but once I sent an email to customer service, they helped with everything and were very knowledgeable, clear spoken, and professional! We started a google meet session and the customer service rep ran me through everything on the advanced side to troubleshoot and fix.

Good outlet poor app

Macman25 on

United States

The app resets HomeKit settings every time it’s opened. Use of HomeKit is fine for me - I wish I could use the energy usage reporting and firmware updates through HomeKit app because I don’t like having to rename all my devices every time I open this app
