This was used by a scammer who I thought was legitimately trying to scam me!

Not a scam!!

Everyone: Please be aware this app has nothing to do with scams. This is an IT Remote Monitoring Management tool, which yes can be used by scammers, but doesn't mean its not a legit app for IT personal. With that being said, if you do not know what this apps function is then don’t download it just cause someone is telling you to. For the developers of this app you need to update this app it is so outdated not viable for 2024. Especially the mouse options when I use the Magic Keyboard the mouse function is so cumbersome. Our organization has used your product for years and the desktop tool is great, but the iPad app is lacking.

I was asked to download this app then to fill out a google form then to open my bank app to see if I received a confirmation. Total scam I do not recommend downloading. When I stated I would figure it out through my bank or the police they hung up on me. Then the app magically disappeared and was uninstalled from my phone!

I just tried to call 866-450-1242 to reach Roku. I told them I need a refund for charges. The lady with a heavy accent, ask me to download this app so that she can connect me to a server to issue the refund. By downloading this app, it will give her access to my phone so I just hung up.

you probably got a random email saying they’re charging you a large amount for something you did not authorize. they’re gonna try to get all of your info and get you to download this app and type in some sketchy url for who knows what. block & report
