Description

Cookie pop-ups are designed to be confusing and make you 'agree' to be tracked. This add-on automatically answers consent pop-ups for you, so you can't be manipulated. Set your preferences once, and let the technology do the rest!
This add-on is built and maintained by workers at Aarhus University in Denmark. We are privacy researchers that got tired of seeing how companies violate the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because the organisations that enforce the GDPR do not have enough resources, we built this add-on to help them out.
We looked at 680 pop-ups and combined their data processing purposes into 5 categories that you can toggle on or off. Sometimes our categories don't perfectly match those on the website, so then we will choose the more privacy preserving option.

You have to allow the app to read and alter web pages

Thought it didn't block the annoying Google pop-up but it does! Unfortunately it doesn't work with Firefox focus though. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Almost perfect

You still see the pop up for a second before it gets closed, it’s better but wish it didn’t show at all also please put on this page it’s open source I only found out trough settings and it was important to me to know

Doesn't do much here

Still having to click on the majority of cookie gateways on my iPhone and iPad. Installed correctly. I thought this app would take care of that?

Endlich!

Endlich eine App bei der diese nervige Cookie Abfrage automatisch geblockt wird bzw automatisch ausgefüllt wird und zwar so wie man es vorher festgelegt hat. Ja auch hier funktioniert es bei manchen Seiten nicht. Aber deutlich besser als die ganzen anderen. Außerdem ist Mitarbeit gefragt. Wenn man eine Seite hat auf der es nicht funktioniert dann sollte man sich die kurze Mühe machen und über die Erweiterung in Safari diese Seite eben schnell melden. Nur so hilft man die App zu verbessern!

Funktioniert in ca. 30% der Fälle

Funktioniert in ca. 30% der Fälle. Bei den restlichen 70% erkennt die App die Cookie Hinweise nicht. Es gibt also noch durchaus Verbesserungspotenzial.

Doesn‘t work

Tested on three different sites (ntv.de, youtube.com, twitter.com), doesn‘t work on none of them.

not working and settings broken

a) when visiting satindex.de the cookie consent is not circumvented. b) when tapping on ‚Settings‘ of the extension only a blank page is presented. (iPadOS 16.6)

Funktioniert nicht auf dem IPhone

Keine Ahnung warum, aber diese App unterdrückt überhaupt keine Cookies. Daher unbrauchbar.
