ContactsXL + Favorites Widget

I purchased the upgraded version a long time ago which allowed me to add new groups as needed. Now when I try to create a new group the app tries to get me to purchase the upgraded version again and when I click on restore purchases it doesn’t restore the purchase. I’ve used the app for some time and have had no reason to write a negative review before but I do now unfortunately.

With the IOS16 upgrade I installed on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Favorites page has stopped working. I can select a favorites item and the prompts display at the bottom to use in calling the person or canceling the selection. However, the screen does not react when I select “call” or “cancel”. I basically can’t use this app anymore for making calls to my favorites items.

Jonathan - I have the pro version; it suddenly stopped working and is asking the developer to update it for the current IOS version. Please advise.

Absolutely love app. I use this on my iPhone and iPad. The newest versions are excellent.

You said in one of your responses to a reviewer who complained that the Contacts XL 2 isn’t compatible with the ipad. You replied to check out Contacts XL 2 for ipad. But that doesn’t come up in the Apps Store. It only has Contacts XL for ipad. Also, I have complained numerous times about Contacts XL continually deletes some of my most important contacts. You kept telling me that your Contacts XL can’t delete contacts. But it is still happening. Since I have used Contacts XL for years and love the various functions I decided to pay for the upgraded new version, 2, but I want it to work on my ipad. Also, I notice that your Contacts XL 2 for iphone is only rated 3.9 out of 5 which is awful. There aren’t many reviews showing which I don’t understand. I can’t believe that there are so few people using Contacts XL 2 and only I think 5 reviews for it? This along with the unavailable Contacts XL 2 for ipad, I am now questioning buying the app. I don’t remember other apps that make you pay twice, once for the iphone and another for the ipad. Usually developers make an app compatible with iphone and if they have it compatible with the ipad they just list it as one of the devices the app is compatible with. They don’t double-charge you. I am very concerned where this app is heading. It started out as the best contacts app out there. Now there are so many problems and you, the developer, is double-charging. That is if the Contacts XL 2 for ipad ever shows up in the App Store.

Easier to use than Apple's default app.

I’ve paid for this app three times now. The absolute least you could do is offer a 9.99 version that is a permanent license with access to all updates. Last time I pay. I’m sure Apple Devs have or will have most of this functionality soon enough. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤬🔥⛈🌪⚡️

This version doesn’t seem to be iPad friendly.
